I love Baby Ponies. What are some of your favorite sets? In no particular order:
First Tooths-These girls are just so cute! Especially love the Pegasus and Babies Tic-Tac-Toe and Quackers
Sparkle Babies-Glitter+translucent neon plastic+baby ponies= a sure win
Pretty n Pearly Baby Sea Ponies-They're just so pretty. I love half of them.
Playtime Baby Bros-These little guys are just unique, being the only full colt set, they've got great colors and symbols. I like all but 2.
G3 Babies-Other then the (sad) lack of unicorns and the stubby wings on the (dismally low number) of pegasus, these little ones are so easy to fall in love with. The two I got this year made me want more!
Runner ups goes to the Seaside Babies for their awesome neon gradient hues, the DnW for being so cute and looking as though they're singing and the UK Babies for having some of the most adorable babies chosen like Buttons, Hopscotch Non-Demon-Eyed Ribbon and Lemon Drop.

i love babies too :)
first my fav is the first original sets, especially the glitter symbols ones like baby surprise, glory and moondancer, they are just the cutest.
then comes the first set of baby seaponies and their cute floating rings.
next is first tooth and i just love the accessories, babies quakers, bouncy and lickety split
and then New Born twins, again love all their accessories, favs are the Pegasus.
and now if this can be part of it would be the HQG1C babies, i just love them and the ones with unique moulds like the raring ones, the all the playful (new born) babies and the sweet treat sisters ^.^

I love the first US Play N Care set the most. 💜 Runner's up: Newborn Twins, , 1st Tooth babies, Pretty N Pearly baby Seaponies, and lastly the Beddy Bye Eye babies, even if they are kinda creepy.

I agree with the first tooth sets, they look so cute and I love the ponies they chose!
Beddy Bye Eyes next, I wish they had made more colorful ones, they looks so freakysweet.
I think the baby seapony sets are very cute.
The rainbow and tropical ones!! I forgot about those, I love those the most I think.

1. Single Newborns-I love the newborn ponies, and although they're not twins, they have the cutest symbols ever, especially Squirmy and Wiggles.
2. Newborn Twins-Although many of them have weird names, they're so tiny and cute and compliment each other perfectly.
3. Year 3 Babies-Classic and cute. I love how they have a more pastel variant of their mothers' color schemes instead of matching them directly like the later sets do.
4. Baby brothers-Little furry feet! D'aww! And their symbols are so cute and unique!
5. Rainbow Babies-They have such pretty color schemes and go well with the Rainbow Curls.

1. My favorite is the first set of US babies (Moondancer, Surprise, Glory, etc), especially the ones with glitter symbols. I love all the baby accessories they came with.
2. Then I'd have to say, although I don't have any of these or know much about them, but I love the babies that come from the UK, like Bowtie, Applejack, and others in that pose (like Ember's pose I think?) and the ones from the second wave of babies but without beddy bye eyes (Ribbon, etc) that weren't released in the US.
3. I love the 4 rainbow babies (Rainribbon, Starbow, etc), but don't own any.
4. Twice as fancy babies.
5. Whatever series that has Baby Licorice, I think there were 3 of those ponies, maybe Meadowsweet, and don't remember the 3rd one, but I think Baby Licorice is so striking and would love to have one of her.

they're separate sets :) Liquorice is a Sweetie Baby (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Category:Sweetie_Baby_Ponies) and Meadowsweet's one of the Family Friends and Family Babies (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Category:Family_Friends_and_Family_Baby_Ponies) (which has to be the worst/most unwieldy set name in all of G1, my god, what were they thinking?).

Ah yes you are correct, it is the Sweetie Babies I was thinking of. Thanks for linking those! Baby Lollipop is the other one in that set that I like.
I agree, Family Friends and Family Babies is a cumbersome name...why not just 'Families'? :blink:

I still remember when I got nibbles and dibbles. I love em to peices.

1. Rainbow Babies - Baby Starbow has always been a favorite
2. Paradise Babies - such fun, bright colors
3. Twice As Fancy Babies - never had any (still don't), but I desperately wanted them as a kid to match the Mommies that I had
4. Teeny Tiny Babies - So itty bitty! :lovey:
5. Fancy Pants Babies/Playtime Baby Brothers - had two of each growing up, and they were always sibling pairs to me (Starburst/Countdown & Bows/Drummer)

My favourite babies:
The single newborns (I just love Wiggles' and Squirmy's symbols)
The newborn twins (and I agree with Mrs Prospector that some of them have weird names)
The teeny tiny ponies
The play and care sets
The playtime baby brother set
The baby sea ponies and sea sparkle baby sea ponies sets

Play and care set babies! In fact, any baby that has an early release mother pony. So the US release (Baby Glory and co), the UK releases in 1985 and 1986, and the German release in 1987.
How many sets is that? Probably about four depending how you split them up?
If I still have one over, then the TAF babies, maybe. I'm very fond of them.
On the subject of the family set, I think...the cards for the parents have something like, Family Ponies on and the babies, Family Babies, but I can't remember. They have different cards/art/stories anyway. Very odd way of doing things...I always want to call them Rainbow Family ponies, to distinguish them from the Loving Families.

Newborns like Tappy, Shaggy etc. So different and interesting babies! And awesome symbols
Playtime Baby Brothers. They are colorful and interesting like Newborns, but it's boys now *o*

Starlight Babies. I love stars and I love ponies. It's perfect set for me!

I love the original babies, so those would have to be number one. Baby Moondancer was my first baby. I actually saved up for her, and bought her with my own money. At 50 cents a week, it took me a while to save up the $7+ tax needed to get her, but it was worth it!
I do love the Newborn Twins. Always did. Super cute, and great accessories! I particularly like Dibbles and Nibbles.
Surprisingly, I think I really like the Teeny Tiny ponies. I got one right before I stopped buying ponies as a kid, and never really liked them that much up until recently. I mostly ignored them until about a year or so ago. Then something clicked, and I went on a buying rampage on ebay. I really like them now. I used to think they looked like little piggies. Now I just think they're cute:p
The Fancy Pants Babies are another one where I was fairly indifferent to them, and then I suddenly really liked them. What set that one off was the Argentina Fancy Pants Babies. My husband got me one several years ago, and I suddenly had to have all of them! I had one Fancy Pants I got as a Christmas gift from a friend when I was like 11, and the nostalgia got to me.
I love the Seaside Babies. I love the symbols. I love the colors. I love the floats. I think they're just awesome!
I'm going to cheat and add in a few more - Jewelry Babies, Sweetie Babies, and Greek babies.

I honestly really love the Fancy Pants babies! I just think their symbols and colors are so pleasant. They're all so cute!!
I suppose in order I would rank my top 5:
1. Baby Rainbow Ponies - I'm a sucker for rainbow!!
2. Sweetie Babies - if only money weren't an object...
3. UK Starlight Baby Ponies
4. First Tooth - they're classic and pretty darn adorable ;__;

They were sold in German speaking countries in 1987.

The two that come to mind immediately are the G1 Newborns and the G3 babies, and weirdly, both come down to promportions. The Newborns, to me, are the peak of tiny and cute for G1 babies before they start looking more like an exaggerated chibi (which does work well for Teeny Tinies, but you get me). They look just right compared to their G1 family.
In the other direction, I love the G3 babies for taking more traits of a baby horse as opposed to just the offspring of the toyline, if that makes sense. G1 babies look like the children of a MLP, but G3 looks like an MLP based on a foal. It’s all in those long legs. Real newborn horses are lanky!
