Green Stuff and epoxy clays are verrrry different textures. Green Stuff is more plasticky but can hold very fine detail, epoxy clay can still be very detailed but is more 'clay-y' in texture. Either would probably work for restorations but epoxy would be my preference.

Hi everyone! I'm a lapsed customiser from way back in the noughties. Please excuse all the broken photobucket links. My friend has asked for help IDing this pony, and I couldn't find her on strawberryreef. We're in Australia, so it may be a regional thing?

I tend to look at Dollyhair and choose a couple of shades that are as close as possible to the person's hair.  Then, if there are any highlights or undertones, pick a colour that's a few shades lighter.  You can pre-blend the plugs, or if you're using a rehairing tool, add the bulk of the colour you want, then add high- or low-lights to taste.  That helps prevent them getting lost in the middle of the plug, too.
