So the first time the Bishoujo statutes came around- I got only Twilight and Pinkie. I mean, they were kinda pricey and I wasn't sure I LOVEd them. But later I had regrets not getting FLuttersy and Dash, and then they were so pricey on secondary market. Well, they've been re-releasing them with skin tones that match the Equestria Girls cartoon better- and clear glittery hair! I ended up popping them on ebay and they sold instantly. I really did love the poines- but the snow babies... yeachh!
I just couldn't figure out how to save the pony from the ugly babies... I wish they had just done these by themselves, but I guess we all do, haha

So I got these in 2015 or 2016 when they first came out- thinking I would smash the little "snowbaby" off of them and keep the absolutely gorgeous vintage style porcelain ponies somehow.. Only, I never really had the nerve to do it. So they have sat here in their boxes in my office since the day they arrived- and now that I am moving offices- it is time for them to go! Before I put them on ebay- I thought I might check here to see if anyone was interested. Price is $79 for the pair - (basically original 2016 price my shipping cost back then) Shipping will probably be pricey to warn you- if you want to check before inquiring- at usps.com, my zip is 98164, and the weight is 2lb 14 oz (so just shy of 3 lb). Plus they are porcelain, so while they are packaged remarkably well in foam, with even more cushioning in the box- I think they probably should go via insured mail, because you just never know. If you want to waive insurance, we can discuss. Anyway, they are cute- the ponies that is. The "cutie marks" were so difficult to see and faded that throughout the movie I kept thinking it was related to the storyline. Like once things got fixed they'd come in nice and strong or something. In many scenes you can't even see them at all.
But I guess nope!
I like the hoof design.
I get the impression that this was a one off movie with associated toys- not necessarily the start of a new series. But I haven't been keeping up on pony news, so maybe I'm way off here.

I thought it was pretty cute  I tried to get my kid to watch it- he got about halfway through... i liked the characters and animation. Would have liked to know how they got into that situation- but I guess that would be too hard. Lots of singing.

How sad- I was just reading on Hallmark.com that this ornament has a weird broken looking back leg- and that ALL of the ponies are like this. I did check here to see what the issue was- and boy is it ugly.
Seems like something that could be fixed with a apoxie sculpt and a complete repaint but... what a pain.
The weird leg seems so odd. They have all kinds of detailed tiny ornaments- they could have come up with a better solution than this couldn't they?
AT the very least they should show what the leg looks like in the promo image. People should see what they are getting...
