Meet Rey, the Star Wars pony! Rey is a galaxy themed G1 Sweetheart Sister pony with handpainted acrylic black, purple and pink starry clouds all over her body. She has blue eyes, a Rebel and Imperial symbol for her dual cutie mark. She has shimmery black, white, blue and purple hair from Shimmerlocks, Doll Planet and Dollyhair. Hi all! I've been working on this handsome fella all weekend  He was once an unfinished G1 Big Brother custom--a fully repainted purple pony with sun and moon symbols from shes-so-unusual. Now he has been remade to be a pony version of the Australian pop singer Darren Hayes (formerly from Savage Garden). He is a pearlescent pink, with big blue eyes. He has the most detailed sets of symbols on a pony I have ever made...all handpainted with acrylics and sealed. A can of Cherry Coke spills across the sides of Darren as a pony, turning into a rainbow. A series of purple and white carnations float beside the flow. On one side are symbols representing song lyrics from the Savage Garden/early solo albums and on the other are symbols of lyrics from a cover and the latest album Homosexual. I wanted to invoke a Twice As Fancy pony with the repeating rainbow and carnations. I can't wait to give him his beautiful wavy blonde hair, thanks to Dollyhair. My music themed ponies have been my favorites. Meet my latest finished custom, Bumblebee! He is a Transformers X My Little Pony made with an old G3 custom of mine that fell apart years later. He has a silver chassis, yellow VW Beetle parts, and a raised sparkly Autobot logo for his cutie mark. His blue eyes are glitter faceted like a bug's eyes. He has a bumblebee colored scooter and helmet as his accessories. Everything was handpainted and details were sculpted by me in acrylics and air dry clay. His tail is made of nylon hair in yellow, black and blue from Shimmerlocks. For kids of the 90s like me, who lived near/in a beach city/town, dolphins were everywhere! Were you a dolphin girl like me? This custom pony has everything I loved in ponies at the time: 1-It's my favorite color-purple! 2-It has neon eye makeup and symbols (hearkening back to the 90s Sunshine Ponies and Tropical Ponies) 3-It's got dolphins on it that glow in the dark! 4-It has twinkle eyes and a hair gradient like Masquerade Enjoy! A tail-less G1 Bubbles in my collection took on new life this Halloween! A new gradient of orange to her natural yellow covers her body, with glitter dusted hooves. Her eyes have been covered in sparkling glitter, and have purple iridescent eyeshadow. Her bubbly symbol has been transformed into a black cauldron with glittery, glow-in-the-dark and bubble wrap covered bubbles arising from its surface. Her mane is in a blend of purples, orange and green from The Doll Planet--and her tail in the same colors with purple tinsel--has a light green bow to match strands of her hair. Thanks to everyone weighing in on a poll I posted here in March, and the work of other pony friends on the MLP Arena/Trading Post, including Hindsight, Indy's Legacy is nearly complete! These ladies took me all day to clean up, and I am so happy they are a part of my herd! G1 Fizzy-before pics: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI got Fizzy from an Instagram claim auction (g2cvintagetoys). She was covered in ink stains/dirt and gloopy gross yellow/brown stains of questionable origin.  Her head popped off easily and all of her stains came off/were reduced in strength with a good toothbrush and Dawn scrub, and some Mr Clean Magic Eraser swipes. Her mane/tail styled beautifully and detangled easily with my conditioner. G1 Sugarberry-before pics: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI won Sugarberry from an eBay auction. She looked pretty good once she'd arrived, but her musty smell immediately made my heart sink. I opened her with a lot of struggle, and recoiled--she was covered in mold residue inside!  It took me an entire bottle of vinegar and hours of soaking, rinsing, repeating a refill, and then adding baking soda/vinegar, then rinsing again in extremely hot water to get her clean inside. I let her dry for hours, too. Once dry, I hit her with more hot water, then scrubbed her down thoroughly with shampoo inside and out, including her mane/tail. I let her dry again, then washed her mane/tail with water and shampoo/conditioner. As I worked on her mane/tail...each brush...a ton of her hair came out. The more I detangled, the more her hair came off. I worried I would have to rehair her. I let her dry a final time, and once I knew she was dry, I put her on display with Fizzy. Thankfully, her mane/tail are okay. eBay ponies are such a risk. I am glad I got her--Sugarberry is a pony I've wanted forever, along with Fizzy--but oof. So much work today! Hi all! A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, on a long-forgotten post on the MLP Arena, I was overly ambitious and wanted to run an Indiana Jones custom pony contest! And...while I collected entries from folks, I am ashamed to admit that I forgot all about it and years later...with the new Indiana Jones movie on the way this summer...I wanted to resurrect this idea, as it were! That's where I need your help! I am very indecisive and looking at all of these designs...I love all of them and I know in my heart I won't be able to make ALL of them, does that make sense?! I would really appreciate your help and keen eyes in pointing me toward the custom design I should bring to life all this time later!  Please reply with what # pony you like the best. And if you recognize these designs, please say so, that way I can give you the long overdue credit you deserve! The Celine Dion pony has arrived! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI finished rehairing her while watching Celine Dion's 2007 concert and as "My Heart Will Go On" played in the finale, I put her together. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginCeline is a gold unicorn with blue eyes, black glitter eyeshadow, and wavy blonde mane/tail. Her sides have bars from the song "Because You Loved Me" and they also have glitter accents. Her chest has her signature in white metallic paint. She has a light blue tail ribbon and a dramatic velvet cape for the Titanic theme. She used to be a G1 unicorn called Sunlight and I did my best to channel Celine while giving her a much-needed makeover. I think I have to get the Satin Slipper Sweet Shop for her and a Barbie shoe collection...lol! She goes along well with my Josh Groban pony, who also needs an update! My mom and I love Celine and her music, she is a powerhouse and I wish her all the best in her healing journey. Her music keeps me going on dark days. Meet my latest custom My Little Pony-Mixtape! She was made from a very baity G1 Sweet Stuff. I fully repainted her with a variety of acrylic paints, including holographic glitter paint, along with her symbol--a purple cassette tape! She was rehaired with several types of nylon doll hair--most of which was from the Doll Planet on Etsy--including magenta tinsel.
