Does anyone know if the Celestials will be in any stores in the US, or if they are online-only here?

Look who arrived!!!!!  I ordered all 4 but for some reason I guess they are coming individually.  Anyways, here is Nova!!

My thoughts:
1.  Whoever designed this packaging did an amazing job it is GORGEOUS!  I'm not sure how well this shows up in the photos, but all the gold is metallic.  The Celestial Pony art is also on the back.  Another advantage is that it is easy to take the pony out and put her back inside if you want to display her in the box but still be able to take her out and enjoy her.

2.  The pony!!   Her antenna is movable which is fun, and her paint quality is very nice and clear.  She has soft and shiny hair and she feels like she is made of nice quality materials.  The swirls are painted on rather than an effect of mixed plastic, but it doesn't really detract from her overall look and I can see why they went with the paint in terms of making sure there was a more consistent appearance among the ponies.

3. My verdict is that Nova is really really cool and I am thrilled that I have the rest of the set to look forward to!  Highly recommended!!!

I got 2 of the 3 celestial ponies I ordered from Amazon!   Aurora and Milky Way have arrived, still waiting on Polaris.  Mine were also shipped one at a time.
These are really beautiful ponies!!  They are so pretty, I almost want to take them out of the box, but I will probably keep them in the box to protect from dust.  The box itself is very pretty and I love the artwork.  Basic Fun did an amazing job on this set, I hope they continue to keep making ponies.

Oh wow, the patterns are quite different. Makes me wonder how it was applied.

Not gonna lie, I'd be a little bummed out if I ordered one thinking I'd get one like the first one, and actually ending up with the one in the second pic. The pattern seems to be a lot less present.

I saw that the pattern is very different from HelloGoodbye's too.  Fortunately I love both Novas.  I unboxed the less marked one and she looks more stripey from the front.

I like how they have different patterns, it makes them each unique.  I'm glad these ponies are available online, but it would be nice to see them in stores too, so you can choose the pattern you like the best.

How neat that the patterns are different!  That is very cool.  I would love to know how they applied the pattern.  As more people get theirs it will be fun to see all the different patterns.
 
I went back to Target today and successfully found the anniversary set with Cotton Candy, Blossom, and mini Glory.  So cute!! 

Seriously, whoever is designing the packaging for these 40th Anniversary Basic Fun ponies is knocking it out of the ballpark.  I was SO impressed with the beautiful Celestial Ponies packaging, and now having the Cotton Candy, Blossom, and Glory set, the packaging shaped like a little stable is ridiculously adorable and nicely done.  Both packages are such different styles, but what they have in common is how beautiful and nicely detailed they are.

My Nova came yesterday and Milky Way came Monday or Tuesday or so. Looking forward to Aurora and Polaris! Nova is a little boring to me. I think they could've used tinsel on these ponies.
