What is your favorite generation? What is your least favorite?

What is your favorite pony generation, and what is your least favorite?

I think my favorite would be G3, I grew up with them and when I here "ponies", G3 automatically comes to mind.
G3.5 however is my least favorite gen I honestly hate them. xD Won't even collect them.

My favorites go, in order-- G3, G1, G4, G2, and then G3.5 is not even liked. xD I like G2 but they seem very obscure to me. They interest me and I have three and want more, Ivy (Who I found at a Rite Aid, still in her package and everything, a few years back for $1. Crazy because Rite Aid's not a thrift shop, so I really wonder where she came from), Sunsparkle, and Flash, who just arrived in the mail today. I like them but the whole line just seemed very odd to me.

I apparently had a lot of G1s as a kid, and probably G2s...I was born in 88. But they were all sold at yard sales, so I really started collecting with the G3s. I love the variety and the colors! I do have a soft spot for G1s, but G3 is probably my favorite. G4 is a close second. Again, great variety and color.

G3.5 is my least. I have 2 my parents bought me that I tucked away in a box somewhere, and 1 I got as an extra from ebay that I love (only because its Dashie!). I'm not too fond of G2 either.

I think my preferred Gen is Gen 1.  The ponies are whimsical and innocent and just so much fun to collect.  Gen 4's are a very close second, they were my "gateway" ponies. I only started getting into MLP because of the FiM show.  Next are the Gen 3's - Oh the colorful variety and the winter themed ponies 

I just do not like the Gen 2 eye's.  They seem so cold and expressionless, I just cannot enjoy them.  Gen 3.5's, ugh, too cutesy and just ugh!!

G4 is honestly my favorite generation. While I grew up with G3, G4 really struck a cord in me.

G1 is next, I mostly blame My Little Pony Tales, its wonderful! But G1 in general is amazing. I'm glad I've gotten into it and started collecting it.

G2 & G3 are tied for third. I like them both equally. G3 for nostalgia and G2 because I love those slim ponies!

G3.5 is at rock bottom. I just.. no. Its cute (in a way.. I dislike the design) but I don't like the whole baby thing. I didn't like the animations or the toys either. The only G3.5 thing I liked were the parent ponies of the newborn babies. because I thought that was cool.

My favorites are the G3s.  Even though I grew up playing with G1s, G3s are what I started collecting. 
Least favorite, like many others, is the G3.5s.  I think they're ugly. 

So my most to least is G3s, G1s, G4s, G2s, G3.5s

Contradicting with everyone else here, I'll admit G3.5 is my favorite gen of all. *gets the weird looks and hides under the table* 
 Don't ask me why I like them so much, there's just something adorable in them...

Least favorite? Probably G4, but when it comes to the toys only, I don't have a least favorite gen. I think all pony toyes deserve love.

I grew up with G1's so they have my heart but I do like G4.  Least favourite would be G3.5 since their proportions are so out of wack.  In order of preference, G1, G4, G3, G2, G3.5

G1s are my favorites.  They're what I grew up with and I love the variety, their size and their character.

G3s are next.  Again, I love the variety (pre Core 7) and all the bright colors.  Next up would probably be a tie between g2s and g4s, with g2s having just a slight edge for their nifty accessories and the clip on wings.  But I don't like the size of either one of them.

I really don't like g3.5s.

It's really hard to say! I think that it's a three-way tie between G1, G3, and G4.

G1 and G2 are tied. I really love them both so it's hard for me to choose! Then it's G4, G3, G3.5.

I love G1 and G3. I don't mind some of the G2s. I don't like G3.5 or later.

I'd have to say G1 is my favorite followed by G4 (though it would be nice if they would diversify the generation a bit.)  G2 and G3 are tied well behind.  Then G3.5...well G3.5 got lost and is currently headed for the crater an active volcano because it's too stupid to notice.

G1 is my favorite generation and I think it always will be.  It was what I grew up with and what I originally collected.  G2 are fine, but I have never found them appealing enough to collect.  I was very excited when G3 came out and I avidly collected them.  They had some great movies and a lot of diversity. When the core 7 stuff started, I stopped collecting for the most part.  G4 is really cool, and I love the show.  I collect the ones I want, but I am not trying to get each one.  In order, G1, G4, G3, G2.
