Buffy, does the german one speak with his original TV-voice?? (for I CANNOT stand that voice actor for him.. I always think 'AMERICAN DAD'.) X^X

..in that case I might have to look for a UK-version.. or.. since someone here said he's even smaller than the so-soft newborns, ditch the idea of owning him completely. I was determined to get him, but I thought he would be AT LEAST the same size or bigger. Small plushes are not cool. :<

(would someone who has him care to post a comparison shot of him and some other pony? *v*)

Will a comparison against Talking Cadence work?

(Sorry for the low quality. I just realized I left my cellphones and wallet in my car- which my parents just took while I was having a nap and they're not home yet). The only working camera I have right now is a LeapPad Explorer

Thanks RAMChYLD!!

Cadence is the same size/mold as Celestia, right? (for that's the only one I have ever seen in person. ^^; )
If that is the case, he is small, but not as bad as I imagined.. :>

"I'm Hungry"
"Hic Hic *laugh*"
"Did I miss Snack Time!?"
"*burp* Ooops! Excuse me!"
"*Hums the theme song"
"Can I have a kiss?"
"You kissed me!"
"*laugh*"
"I'm Sleepy..*snore*"

Yep, more or less the same size. I will get another picture of him with talking Celestia- my parents just got home and I have my cellphone back now.

Edit: Here you go.

I found him at a target in Virginia, but they only had one and he was dumped on top of a pile of baby sweetie belles. I haven't seen another!

Well, if they had the other talking ponies in dutch, most likely Spike will come in dutch, too.

Too bad Hasbro Malaysia has no intentions of releasing so softs in the country- apparently they think it wouldn't do well over here. Because they brought in a bunch of learn to walk Pinkie Pies and apparently I was the only one who bought one :P As said before, I had to pay through my nose for this one through BBTS.

I'm sorry, I don't know his TV-voice...okay, have found his voice at you tube...and no, the So soft one doen't sound like the TV voice...if you want, I will try to make a little film with his voice :-)

He says:
"Hi, I'm Spike, the bay dragon"   Hey du, ich bin Spike, der Baby-Drache
"I'm Hungry"   Ich hab nen Drachen-Hunger
"Hic Hic *laugh*"   hick hick *lacht*
"Did I miss Snack Time!?"   Hab ich das Essen verpasst?
"*burp* Ooops! Excuse me!"   *rülpst*, uuups, entschuldigung
"*Hums the theme song"   dadadadada dadadadada(summt Mein kleines Pony-Theme)
"Can I have a kiss?"  Gibst du mir nen Schmatzer?
"You kissed me!"   hey hey hey
"*laugh*"   *kichert*
"I'm Sleepy..*snore*"   *gähnt* Bin ich müde *schnarcht*

I have written the german things, he is saying in red behind the english translation

i think he is the same size as the other g4 talking plushy's.
omg the obsessed collector in me now wants to collect all the different language speaking spikes, so does the uk one have an English accent?.
i was wondering cos we have that talking leapfrog dog Violet and she has both American and English accent LOL its so funny    :lmao:
i think the spike here is American sounding and doesn't sound too much like tv spike (who i think is voiced by a female like Bart Simpson and Jimmy Neutron)  :P

Ok, reading this two back to back got me an image of Spike talking in the voice of Krusty. Nasty O.O

Most of the leapfrog My Pals that shows up here in Malaysia have an American accent. However, I remember reading on the Leapfrog Facebook page someone complaining that their Scout was singing a vulgar version of "If you're happy and you know it", and it turns out the problem was that some UK Scouts and Violets ended up on US shelves, and somehow the thick English accent warped "Bark with me" into "<vulgarword> with me" to American ears. I can't help but laugh XD

:lmao: first sorry about the off topic but crusty hey hey hey  :lmao:
another thing our violet is English accent with the online American accent add-on eg.
(English accent)" my favorite colour is....(American accent) purple" .  also
''           ''          my favorite food is.......      "          "        banana's . its so funny the difference in tone of voice as well hehe
that's why i would love all the different spike's I'm also a nerd on loving different languages
