Looks pretty but not sure if i will get her. Though now i'm kinda glad i didn't buy Diamon Rose yet.
Also, when i first bought one of these i was surprised you can't actually make the wings move. O.O I thought there would have been a button or something.

did you see that FLOCKING!?!?! on the wings?!?! Is that, like, the first MLP flocking we've had for 10 years?

Is that actual flocking on the wings? It just looks like glitter to me. Or a combo of both..?
Either way, she is very pretty as a Glimmer Wing. I like her translucent wings. :)

awhh... and here I was with fuzzy-bug-bumblebee type anticipation! :P ah well. She is pretty. and It's nice to see new stuff trickle down.

I noticed the hair but assumed since it's on Taobao it might be a prototype version of the final product. /shrug
No idea. I do hope they add another colour into her hair, but.. :/

I'm not a fan of the Glimmer Wings but she's not too bad looking. Love the use of the G3 logo on the pics, heh.

Her wings look translucent! That's neat. Her hair is only one color though...hmm. Odd choice for a Glimmer Wing I think. I wonder if there will be any new character ones. I just got Diamond Rose, I'm not sure if I'd want a Glimmer Wing ver. of her if this shows up in stores.....

Hm...She's okay. She looks a little off to me though. But ugh, more recycled ponies. I already have Diamond Rose so I won't be picking this version up. I'm not a huge fan of the oversized flimsy wings anyway though-- my only glimmer wing pony so far is Ploomette.

My sentiments exactly. I won't buy GW Daisy Dreams because I like her regular version more.
Although, I like Diamond Rose with red hair enough to consider the possibility ;)

I'm not too crazy about the Glimmer Wings. The wings just seem way too huge. They also take up too much room on my shelf, so there's that, too. That said, I do have two of them. I got Rainbow Dash because I love her wings. I mean, I still think they're too big, but I loved the colors and the fact that they're transparent. Ploomette, I just got since she's new. I think if they release a normal pegasus version of Ploomette I'll put my GW version in my trade box.

The glimmer wings have moveable wings :) . You can grab one wing and flap it (move it right and left) and the other wing moves opposite to it. You can also pose them closed or open-winged.
Originally I was skeptical of these glimmer wings ponies, but now since I actually got one, I love them!

haha c'mon people, the wings ARE moveable. I move mine all the time! XD These are kids toys, kids are entirely capable of moving the wings up and down with their fingers and pretending it's flight. Have we forgotten our imaginations!?
The glitter and translucent wings would be AWESOME in the finished product, but this thing screams 'prototype' to me, based on the quality, so I'm going to wait to see a real release before I get my hopes up.

I, in all honesty, think the seller put the glitter on the wings. I admit she may be a prototype but I do think that glitter was added after the seller got the pony XD

Don't really like glimmer wing ponies but I will say that I like her hair that reddish color as opposed to the highlighter pink :)

Wow, I think shes lovely, I'll cirtainly pick her up if she becomes avaliable.
The glimmer wings line have been a bit hit and miss with me, not a big fan of the mane cast with them, but I really like toy line characters with them. I have ploomette and will be picking up daisy dreams when shes out and hopefully diamond rose now too.

Eh, i just prefer the mechanisme that was used on the G3 toys...(and for the price i paid i kinda expected them to be able to do that). Having to push one of the wings just seems like a wierd mechanisme to me. With the G3 ones you could just ya know..hold them up by their body and actually make them flap. They are still cute though.

I agree. I was expecting them to have a wing flapping mechanism. I just think they're too small to do anything with.

If this isn't just a prototype and actually gets released, I'll have to get her. I actually haven't cared at all for the Glimmer Wings (despite my butterfly obsession) but she's beautiful!

I'm still trying to get my hands on regulat Diamond Rose. She's the one I want. Personally, the only glimmer wing ponies I'll get are OC ponies. So.....it looks like Ploomette will be the one that I own. Well, at least until they start popping up at yard sales. lol

The glimmer wings are pretty but if removed from the box, they will be ruined quickly by my pony loving daughter! Our ponies are well loved! :P

She's' fab*!* And that looks like "velvet glitter" to me: kinda matte and luxurious rather than sparkly like normal glitter. It behaves much like flocking. The only glimmer I have is Ploomette, hoove I LOVE. So sick of the one sided symbol non-sense_it severely limits display & play value when my pony only looks like herself when facing one direction. Maybe they give us turned heads to try to make up for that_ain't workin.

MUST HAVE! @_@ I loooove Daisy Dreams, and her as a Glimmer Wing is just to die for. I really like her with those variant yellow Rarity? wings, though it looks like it's more likely she'll come with the darker gradient ones which really do look nice as well.
Those blue RD wings suggest to me more are in the works. I wonder if DR will be released with FS and DD, or of she is part of another later wave.

Ooh she's pretty. I will keep an eye out for her. There are so many fakes and variants on taobao that it's hardly possible to find *real* ponies that will reach the shops with any degree of certainty!

If you hold a Glimmer Wing up to the light, the wings ARE kinda transluscent. I wish they were more so, though. :\

If they're turning regular brushables into glimmer wings, they should do the vice-versa and turn ploomette from a glimmer wing into a regular brushable.
It's good to see that these colors are a lot different from the other wings. It's just the size and position of the wings (as always) that turns me away.
Still not tempted to collecting the glimmer wings. ALMOST was, but then I didn't.
