The statement that the owner of the rights to the font wants "all items destroyed" that use the font is just a usual thing said in such disputes (like a threat). In general, an issue like this is very likely to be resolved by a mutual agreement, where Hasbro will pay an amount XY and the rights holder will grant an extended license.
Licensing is a very complicated field, and mistakes happen all the time.

Yep. Its all a bluff to get Hasbro frightened to want to pay to settle the issue. No worries, MLP isn't doomed, and this won't cause G5 to happen  And yeah, lawsuits take an extremely long time to get started. It could either be the fact of our slow legal system, or that they waited for the perfect time to strike to get the most money/best outcome from Hasbro. Regardless, Hasbro will be signing a check. lol

I have 4 of these - missing Rarity and Fluttershy. Is anyone else having trouble making them stay standing up? The heads make them seem top heavy.

I don't see why they'd discontinue the ponies. I saw several kids getting the new ponies the day they came out just this year, demand can't have gone down that much.
That and with the movie coming out in 2017, they'll either reissue them or still be making them....that's more money right there.

I'd buy every single pony they'd put out! So I just hope they'll continue releasing them. I'm awaiting them to chase easy money and to re-release the CMC with their Cutie Marks

Wave 2 of the small story minifigure sets are out at Toys R Us! Picked them all up today - Maud, Pinkie, Twilight, Mr. Cake, Cranky Doodle Set and Twilight Set.

You too? I told them I wanted  Pony stuffed rock solid. Like...solid, to the point where she would be ripping by the seams. Floppy as ever...Looks like I'll have to take her to the store.
