Thanks you! The donkey is a thrift find, and it's a HTF family so for the moment, I wasn't able to found some other donkeys to goes with him.

Thanks you! Well I'dd say than in older generation they were more animals choices and then, creativity in some playset (like gypsy caravan, riverboat, etc.) but I kind of thinks they are the only brand that kept it's identities and quality over the years. I really likes the new ones, and I'm really looking forward more of them, counting also that they are way more affordable straigh in store than in the secondary market on internet. So unless you have luck while thrifting (they remains rare in thrift), I just hope that they expand the animal species in the actual line

Thanks for your reply. For what I know, the vintage ones are rare and really expensive to get. But for thoses, who are reedition (like the 35th ponies by basic fun) I really don't know their sough after rate.
I've opened the ponies, very carefully (the boxes are still okay then) and the dolls are still boxed for the moment.

What a collection, and your photos are gorgeous! That lighthouse may be the cutest thing I've ever seen. ^^
I'll do individual pics of the lighthouse soon! And I will squeal and vicariously live through your photos because I told myself, there is NOT ENOUGH ROOM and I downsized my CC collection down to the Red Panda and Panda families,( oh and the hedgehogs with their motorcycle and sidecar) but I love to look at other people's setups!
It's hard to restrain ourselves. But I hope this topic is going to make you dream! Soooo cute, Cold Ruru, I love your pics!! In Germany we back then had a similar product, it was called "Bärenwald" (made by Simba). I LOVED them as a kid and still love to see them today. Cant collect because no room lol but I adore this little figurines sooo much! And they have such cute accessories!
Yes, they are a lot of similar brand/gen/model. And they are all to die for! I must admit that's the only collection I allow myself who isn't horse themed, and I LOVE to play with all the little accessories!! That house is amazing!!! And you did such a great job restoring it!!! Your Sylvanian collection is also pretty epic. I have just a few myself, fortunately including 3 bears (I have Goldilocks so...) & a grey pony!!!
The ponies are rare and sough after, so it's like already an amazing collection

Oh wow, I love your collection. I still have 3 of my childhood collection, the dad and son and a baby from the Evergreen Bear family. Sadly, over the years I've lost the sister and mom. I've lost the raccoon family too, it's sad when it happend. But that's fine if you've bough some other families back I've never seen a donkey before, he's really cute! Is he Sylvanian or a different brand? Well it's a Forest Families, wich is the same but way older. There's a bunch of different gen, just like ponies. Love how you are fixing up the house! I lucked out on finding some good deals on housing for some of my bunch but haven't gotten much furniture to fill them. Furniture definely are the most difficult, and I'm really picky on color and design. But with time and patience, I'm sure we are going to found what we need!! Oh that looks so wonderful! The only calico critter/Sylvanian I had growing up was this cat and a pony. I never really got into them, but seeing your collection...let’s just say I might be reconsidering that.
Oh no I can't imagine that you're going to resist Sylvanian Families :') Good luck to you!

Hi! Let's talk... Sylvanian. This a very beloved toy line of mine, as I still have thoses I got as a child and never stopped to collect them Childhood Sylvanian-My favorite set as a child, the bathroom with the mother & baby skirrel. Almost complete... -The kitchen with the bear family. -the Camping set with the brother & sister bear. -the Mouse family, with some other brand furniture... When I turned 18, my friend offered me... -the fruit wagon set, with a rabbit and most cherished, a pony! Extended Sylvanian universe (most recent buy)A year ago, I found a house while thrifting and decided it'll be time to make a home for my sylvanian. Recently, I finished restauring it... It was the moment to shoot all my other sylvanian and furniture... (some are thrift find, so they may have wrong clothes) -Misc -Colley family -Kangaroo family -Cats in all colors you can dream family... -Rabbit family -Alpaga family -Deer family -Alone donkey... And here's everyone in the house... I'll show you the rooms every time I finish one - I still need a lot of furnitures!!

Aaah your collection is so beautiful! I'm jealous
Don't be jealous, please As a UK resident I grew up wi Sindy & only had one childhood horse of hers, who came with a gig. I believe his name was Dragonfly. I THINK I might have him & his gig back, but I need to check... I have a couple other horses too, but how authentic they are is another thing I'm unsure of. Your farm animals are to die for btw!!! I need to look up Barbie Farm now... (think I might have the cats)
Sindy horses are cool too, I'dd hope to found some one day or another! Omg - Where are these guys from? <3 I see them every so often and want them eventually but never know what to look for to find them. Well usually I search "barbie animal" - I'm not sure but the cats came with a veterinarian set and the fox from a swann lake set. Also, I'm currently drawing all the Barbie horse, if you're interrested: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,398192.0.html
