Hey there!

Are here any model horse collectors? I would love to hear from you! I mainly collect model horses, cause My Little Ponies are tad too expensive for me to just collect, unless anybody wants to swap

Okay, so everybody tell me how many horses you have in your model collections? Let me start...

I also have riding sets, fences, a dog, and 10 riders.

And for the last point...I have a spare Schleich retired Palomino stallion, who I am willing to trade against a Breyer. PM me if interested!

After spending three solid days seeing every horse in existence apparently at Breyerfest, I want to start collecting. I only have 3 that were my moms as a child.

I don't plan on collecting but at the moment I've amassed quite the hoard of modeled horses.

I have 3 Clydesdale Breyers (mom, baby dad)
Schleich I picked up two huge lots at a block sale I'd say I'm up to 30+ horses

Ahh! I will have to count when I get home! I have breyers, grand champions, schleich...a few off brands.  I am so wanting a psa but haven't added one to my collection yet

I've always had a small collection. I think I have about 20 traditional sized Breyers plus a Peter Stone and a bunch of Stablemates sized Breyers. I used to have more but I whittled it down to a focused collection of Saddlebreds, National Show Horses and a few Arabs. I have several Saddlebred Weanlings (wish I had ALL of them). I do have an Andalusian (Legionario III) because he was my first Breyer when I was 12

I haven't bought a breyer in a while because they haven't put out too many affordable Saddlebreds in the last 3 years, but I think I may buy the woodgrain one they have out now. I bought a Classic-sized rearing Breyer stallion at a thrift shop (he's pretty marked up) for an attempt at repainting him, but I have been too chicken. I don't know why, I mean, I have an airbrush.

I have a Grand Champion with no tail, and several Barbie horses (Nibbles, plus a few fantasy horses that live with my fakies), 1 Schleich, and 4 Breyers (2 minis, one foal, and the golden Secretariat that was apparently a limited run- he's autographed on his belly, but I can't make out the signature so I have no idea by whom.)

I prefer multi-colored cartoony fantasy horses so I don't have very many realistic model horses. I've thought about putting the golden Breyer up for sale or trade in exchange for a rare pony like a Y2 Sea Pony, Mimic, a Mountain Boy, etc, but I just haven't yet. I'm waiting for a package to come before I'm ready to start a sales thread.

I have been a big Breyer collector starting back in 1995. I got to around 400 Breyer horse when I lived at home with my parents. When I moved out in 2003 I sold off all but 10 of them. I got back into them a few time after that and would get around 200 or more then sell most of them off. I was collecting two years ago and had a nice conga of Wintersong horses. I had about 28 of them with some being custom ones.  But I fell on hard times again and sold most of them off. Now I have 9 Breyer horses to my name. They are all my original ones that I got as a kid and one custom Wintersong made to look like nostforaute ( Don't know how to spell it?) the Halloween horse. 

My daughter has a nice big collection of Grand Champion horses and  Schleich horses.  I also have a big collection of Grand Champions to back in the day. Sold them off when I started to drive.

I only collect My Little Ponies now, can really one afford one hobby.

30-40 Hagen Renaker horses, vintage and newer
 20 Artist Resins, 20 Animal Artisrty resins
And lots of other horses in smaller numbers: Beswik, Starlight Originals,  Grand Champion large collector QH, Sandicast, Hartland and tons more.
