This question's probably been asked a million times! But what is your favourite G4 type of pony to collect? I personally like Fashion Style ponies, though I don't have many of them. And I have a lot of Funkos back at my old house.
-
Non mane 6 brushables. I have 2 FS size ponies, Spitfire and her buddy Daisy Dreams, who live on my DVD case, but while I love them and their amazing hair, I don't have space to collect them when I mostly focus on G1 stuff. So the regular brushables for me, preferably not mane 6.
-
The normal toys, probably (just like all the gens, really)! I have a goal of getting at least one of each G4 character who has a regular toy (both G4 and G4.5, for example I have Lyra in G4 form but am actively searching out for a G4.5 one still), of course for Euro exclusives that'll be a bit more difficult as I'm gonna have to save up money for them. I also want every single pearly pony. I still need Wave 1 and Redheart.
-
I like the Fashion styles as well, though I haven't been keeping up with them. I think I had all of them up to SDCC :muffin: Pony, then stopped getting them. But I really like their substantial size and how much more naturally their hair falls.
I also love the articulated Guardians of Harmony figures, they're super fun! I just found 10+ of the Wonderbolts set at Goodwill for $15, so I got two (one for me and one for my friend). I love the ponies with hair, but I also love how expressive and on model the GoH figs are. They feel like they have more life.

blind bags, gimmick ponys, and colouring books
-
Applejack toys, at least one of each brushable, G4zillas and most fashion styles.
I was into collecting Enterplay's trading cards for a while, but haven't touched the latest batch (the MLP Movie cards and dog tags) since i don't really do much with them. And I'm saving up for a trip to Everfree NW next year.
-
I like the brushables and housewears merch : )
-
I'm partial to the Crystal ponies! Any of the figures that have that translucent sparkly quality appeal to me.
-
My favorite is actually the Build-a-Bears because they're huggable and they feel like they're my friends. But I don't have space to own a bunch of them!
-
I like the Blind Bags and weird gimmicky stuff. My mom is good at finding strange things for me :P I think my favorite is a G4 themed Yahtzee game.
-
It used to be all about the brushables and blind bags for me! I'm now no longer actively collecting, but I sometimes buy random merch such as stickers or colouring books.
-
I really enjoy playsets or ponies that come with a large accessory, like the seaponies that come with a drink bar, bathtub, etc. I'm really looking forward to the Fluttershy that comes with a pet-spa-house-thing coming out year.
I'm getting back into the blind bags because of the variety of molds avaliable for them now.
-
I also used to mostly collect the blind bags and have a few brushables. I'm not really into them any more, but I still have them on display. The blindbags are really cute, especially Granny Smith.
-
Regular sized brushables and blind bags/minis, altho I have a bundle of Funko mystery minis, two full sized funkos, two eqg's and a handful of selected fashion styles too. All together I'm quite selective with my G4 collecting, I only get things that I really want, I don't have an urge to collect them all.
-
I think its the play sets
-
Right now it’s the baby sea ponies, movie toys like Songbird, Tempest, and the Mane 6 sea ponies. I also like some of the Guardians of Harmony.

EQG Minis! I think they are adorable, and I just love EQG. I collect over G4 things too, but the minis are my favorite :)
-
I only like the Merch for the G4 ponies. I just cant get into the toy itself. :(
-
Non mane six brushables :)
-
Brushable, mostly non-mane six ponies that I must have.
-
Blind bags and right now because the movie is new Songbird Serenade.
-
For me it's the original style, regular-sized brushables mostly. I also love the comic books, I collect the trade paperback editions. I also love books with the non-vector art, such as the 'Under the Sparkling Sea' book, and I also have an art book for the movie which is really beautiful. Oh and the blindbags, but only the actual blindbags, the ones with cards. The new ones have mini catalogues, (not to mention drawn-on wings!) so I'm about to stop buying them I think.

Cool! Your avatar is beautiful by the way!

Right now that is all the animal variants that came out in wave one, I have a handful of them.
-
Any non-main 6 brushable, and for the most part that is it.

Thanks! It's by Witch, she's amazing! Her thread is temporarily closed right now, but keep an eye on it: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,389138.0/topicseen.html (http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,389138.0/topicseen.html)

I prefer the standard brushable ponies, especially the pearly ponies, even if they have the most atrocious hair I've ever seen.

Thank you!

Obscure/misc oddities :) Like Kinder Surprise, Chupa Chups, stuff like that.
Also non-main 6 brushables (not really a fan of the reboot, though..) and blind bags :) And Equestria Girls (the original dolls, not the minis or the... interesting-looking new dolls).
-
I love to collect the non mane 6 brushables. Some of the special ones too :)
-
I like the Build-A-Bear ponies; and they inadvertently lead me to buying the BAB holiday deer...so yea the BAB's.
-
Brushables for me. I like to have one of each character. I have some Fashion Styles too but haven't been as worried about getting them all.
-
Right now I'm really obsessed with the sea ponies and hippogriffs. I adore the baby sea ponies and my huge Stratus Skyranger action figure. And I can't wait to get brushables of both species. Of course I love the pony brushables too and I wish I would have started collecting them a long time ago because now there are so many I will likely never have.
-
Plushies, which sucks because I don't have room for all the ones I want.
