Topics Locked?

Hiya, I recieved notification today that two of my older forum threads got locked. There were no new replies to the topics, and no reason was given for them being locked as far as I could tell. I'm wondering if this is an automatic thing that happens after a certain amount of time goes by with no new activity on a thread? I pored over all the rules and help sections but I saw no mention of this.

I just want to make sure I'm not in trouble or anything! Certainly if I'm being annoying I'd like to know so I can fix it in the future. Thanks.

How old were these threads?

Yes, we usually lock threads that are over 6 months old. This is to prevent out dated topics being bumped, and to allow fresh topics to have their turn.

I haven't been a member for that long    My locked thread was from September. I don't mind if it's locked, I just wanted to know if I had done something wrong and that's why it was locked.

I went on a bit of a locking spree in the Corral. Mostly threads at page . . . 30 (?) and older. If you want your thread(s) unlocked and bumped, just link me.
