Hi ponies, I wanted to share with you my latest collaboration with Miss Asuka. Together, we bring you; Journey to Japan: Tokyo, Kohie, Hinari and Ramen. Each one of the Japanese themed custom ponies was designed by Miss Asuka and then brought to life by myself, pinkkittywinks/Shadow on the Moon. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe ponies were made from HQG1C ponies and have been hand dyed, painted and airbrushed using high quality acrylic paints and sealed with polyurethane vanish. They have been rehaired with nylon hair and merino wool, which has been softly styled. Each pony comes in her own box and a wears a hand made bandana made with craft fabric bought in Japan. On the back of each box is the art work created by Miss Asuka. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginTokyo: Tokyo has been made from a HQG1C pony. I used an airbrush to create a sunny, summer sky with fluffy clouds, Mount Fuji and Toyko's skyline, featuring a few iconic buildings on her display side. Her mane and tail have been rehaired with nylon in the colours pink, yellow, blue and lilac. Her eyes have been painted on by hand and she has red, glittery eyeliner. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginKohie: Kohie made from a hand dyed HQG1C pony. I have airbrushed her using white acrylic paint, which has a pearly finish to it. The koi carp symbols have been painted on her body using acrylic paint. She has yellow eyes and bright, white eyeliner. Her mane and tail has been rehaired with white, black, orange and blonde nylon hair. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHinari: Hinari is made from a HQG1C pony. Her body has been given an gradient effect using an airbrush. Her distinctive eyes have been painted on using acrylic paint. Her mane is orange nylon and she wears a hand made organza ribbon barrette. Her fluffy fox tail has been made from a blend of cream and orange merino wool. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginRamen: Ramen made from a hand dyed HQG1C pony. Her symbols have been painted on using acrylic paints. Her cheeks have been softly blushed using an airbrush. I have fully rehaired her with nylon hair in the shades of black, silver, white and purple and has been carefully styled and she wears hand made "chop stick" style hair accessories and a red ribbon in her tail. Her eyes have been painted in the "Gyaru" make up style. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan. She has some small air bubbles in her vinyl. Hi ponies, I don't believe I have shared these custom ponies with you all. I know I have not been sharing my things on here, I just got lazy  I would like to change that and start to post more regularly again here I have been working with Miss Asuka lately. She is a fantastic artist and sent me some of her drawings, which included some of "ponies". I thought they look fantastic and decided to bring them to life as real custom ponies. The customs turned out so fantastic, we decided to create some custom projects together. The Magical Candy Factory Trio on Etsy visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe Candy Maker: He has been fully repainted using an airbrush. His twirly, candy cane symbols have been hand painted on by myself, as have his eyes. His cheeks have been softly blushed using and airbrush. His eyes are purple with red eyeliner and iridescent glitter eyeshadow. He has a fully removeable frilled collar, purple felt top hat and two hair bows, made from fabric to match the frilled collar. He also has a hand made walking candy style cane. He is been fully rehaired with nylon hair in shades of blonde and auburn, which has been tightly curled. There is some damage to his body, this is a scrape down his non display side. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginCharlie: He has been fully repainted with an airbrush. His gold ticket and cabbage symbols have been hand painted by myself, as have his blue eyes. His cheeks have been softly blushed with an airbrush and he has a sweet blaze on his forehead. He has been rehaired with butterscotch coloured hair and his tail curled. He wears a reversable bandana, one side has red and white stripes (to match his tail ribbon) and the other side is made from the same spotty fabrics and the Candy Makers accessories (so they match). visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Dragon: He has been hand cast in resin which has been coloured with green mica powder and glitter. His spines, claws and tummy have been hand painted with acrylic paint and sealed with Gede gloss varnish. He has a chocolate and silver coloured ribbon tied in a bow around his neck. As he has been hand cast there are some bubbles in the resin, under his chin and at the ends of some of his spines. I really love how they turned out. It is exciting for me to work with Miss Asuka, she has given me some good challenges and I got to try some new techniques. It has reminded me how much I enjoy customising ponies. Love pkw xxx

Hi ponies, I have been doing a little work on the nirvana gallery and was looking at the gallery "wish list" I have NC marked Precious Pocket ponies Magic Hat Bunny Hop/Hopping Pocket and Lil Pocket/Jingle Pocket. I am sure I wouldn't have added them to the list if I wasn't sure they existed (or I could have dreamed them, that has happened before now!). Do you have a NC marked Magic Hat Bunny Hop/Hopping Pocket or Lil Pocket/Jingle Pocket? Have you seen them or had one through your hands? Let me know if you have Love pkw xxx

Hi ponies, Updating the Nirvana Gallery got me thinking about collecting and my own collection. I added up in my mind which countries I have nirvana ponies from and which I don't. Argentina - yes Brazil - yes Colombia -yes France - yes Greece - yes Hong Kong/China ‘error’ ponies (eg. Reverse Gusty, Princesses and Happy Tail oddities) - yes India - NO Italy - yes Japan -yes Macau - NO Mexico - yes Peru - yes South Africa -yes Spain - yes No Country - yes Thailand (Mountain Boys only) - NO (this is super had though, only a handful have been found) Venezuela - yes Which Nirvana countries do you have in your collection and what are you missing? I know some collectors have made it a goal to get a pony made from each nirvana country for others this has happened accidently. Love pkw xxx

Hi ponies, I have done some work on the nirvana gallery website to make it easier to access if you are viewing on your phone, instead of a desktop or laptop. Hopefully this will make a better user experience. I have also added the Spotlight on Italy Ponies. https://pinkkittywinks.wixsite.com/mlparenagalleryI still have to add the Spotlight on Mexican Ponies. I also notice there aren't spotlights on the following countries Colombia, India, Macau, Peru, Spain (regular, not Piggy), Venezuela and Japan. Hi Ponies, I am excited to share with you the customs I (shadow on the moon/pinkkittywinks) have made as part of a collaboration with Miss Asuka. Miss Asuka is a pony and toy collector based in Italy, she is also an amazing artist. She shared with me several drawings she had done of ponies, I decided to make them into "real" pony customs. This is how the Neon Splash Summer; Limited Edition Cocktail Girls were born. Each is based on a cocktail, Spritz, Cuba Libre and Caipirinha and comes in their own box, designed and made by myself.
