Title: The Little Swap Brag Thread!

I was VERY pleasantly surprised to find out that I was the first one to receive my box from the Little Swap today... so clonesrebellion advised me to start up a brag thread, and so I have!  And I have a lot to brag about-- the lovely hannah725 took VERY nice care of me!

First off, I was AMAZED to see how many little bundles she fit into the box!  And I LOVE the pink polka dot paper!!

The kitty card is to DIE for cute!! And yessssss, Haribo gummi bears and Dove chocolate... I am ready to ear into them already... :D

There was also a really cute notebook, some nice drawing pencils (I haven't worked with real drawing pencils in a dog's age!!) and an array of wonderful colored sharpies!! They're so fun, now I just need an excuse to write on stuff! XD. (Edit: there were some cute kitty stickers too, I just realized they didn't make it into the pics, oops!)

An ADORABLE Sailor Mercury plushie, and really really cute hair ties! I'm definitely wearing one of these to work tomorrow!

An assortment of vintage knick-knacks- pencil toppers and whatnot. I love them! I think the little dino is my fave!  :biggrin:

Some Pinkie Pies!! A blind-bag Pinkie to add to my Pinkie army (she's an interesting shade of pink too, different from my other BB Pinkies!), a really pretty little keychain, and a G3 Christmas ornament!  I can't wait to put it on my tree in a couple months!!

And now....... ::drumroll:: THE PONIES!  Sandcastle! Shovels! Gusty!! AND PINK DREAMS!!!! I did a little squealy shriek when I opened her, she's one of my grails! I love her even more in person than when I was drooling over her on the screen! They're all so cute and beautiful!! Just look at the glitter on Gusty's symbols, she's perfect!  And the twins are going to look adorable in the Lullaby Nursery! (Pinkie ornament did a photobomb too, thats how cute she it).

This was my first swap box to put together, and it was truly amazing how it all came together..thank God! And, another cool surprise, it arrived a day early!  :biggrin: I'm so glad buttsonso is so happy. It makes my heart happy! yay for The Little Swap!

Time for my brag!  :yippee: I received my box from Raspberry Brulee sometime over the weekend, but since I was away I didn't know it was here until late last night when we got home from my road trip. I was sssoooo tired last night, I decided to do my brag justice by waiting to open the box today. So here we go! Let's start with the card because it is so interesting! The patch is reusable! I love this!

I started with the a teeny tiny package. What a big surprise! These are sooo tiny, but so very detailed and sssooo cool! Where did these come from?

My turn to brag now! My partner was solsticeadam, who I have already discovered is a swap ROCK STAR, because we arranged a private swap together earlier this summer. The fun has been doubled! I still can't believe how much we all were able to fit into these tiny boxes!

The ponies I received are gorgeous, and so many super- mega wants! My very first newborn <3, Princess Golden Light (to accompany my Princess Silver Rain), Silver Glow who has the prettiest metallic G3 wings, Stripes is my first Raincurl pony...and now I need to have them ALLL...and although she's sitting back there shyly, you can probably catch the fragrance of Strawberry Surprise through your monitor, she is just so wonderful! These girls are awesome, and absolutely perfect for me ^_^

PONY ROYAL! Okay, I really hadn't though this through...which pony should get to model a satin pink cape with fur trim? Doesn't get more fabulous than that. It doesn't! The temporary tattoos are glittery! THEY ARE RAINBOWFIED PONIES WITH GLITTER! Those are definitely coming with me to the next Bronies NYC meetup, along with the band aids! (Although I think I'll keep some at home for my husband to use...maybe I should hide our regular boring band aids on him?!? :P) Tasty nut butter snacks which are perfect for busy days running around the city, and Adam found the sea glass, shell, and beach quartz himself- perfect end of summer treasures from Cape Cod to add to my little rock collection.

Best of all, HANDMADE PANDA PLUSH :glitter: I know this swap is about the ponies, but how can you beat a handmade gift?!? Just LOOK at this panda! We are going to be very happy together

AHHH YES! Why is cute food so much fore delicious-looking than regular food? I don't want to eat pandas, but those red bean buns look way better than just plain o' bread! :blink:

Very well said! Swaps are so much fun, unquestionably my favorite thing about this community. I like thinking about other people who like this very niche thing that I also like, and how we all go above and beyond to send each other wonderful surprises... swaps engender a lot of good will and happiness  :lovey:

I am completely floored by the amount of awesomeness that Cassstorm put into this teeny little box :dropjaw: Seriously, once you see everything, you'll wonder how in the world she managed to fit all of this in a 6x6x6 box :lol:

Here's what I saw I first opened the box... Pretty pink tissue paper and a beautiful card adorned with a blue butterfly ^.^

Then I pulled everything out of the box which led to numerous excited screams and squeals (pretty sure I scared my husband)... I was so overjoyed that I had tears in my eyes... Do you see that vintage Rainbow Brite bedding peeking out at the back? :freak: Those were packed inside the box!

There are no words to express how thrilled I am to have received this box. Cassstorm, you are beyond amazing and this is most definitely the best swap box I have ever received! I can't stop staring at these beautiful ponies, and that Rainbow Brite bedding was the most perfect addition to this box! Firstly I have to say the unicorn wrapping iwas so cute, I have tried to save as much as possible to reuse it again, it was adorable

Ponies  :lovey: :lovey: :lovey: i was so happy to see so many lovely ladies, baby sister i sold years ago but have regreted it since, i am so happy to have her back with her mum and dad :) ekk cocoa berry is so pretty and smells so good still. Lemon gems is super cool, i have been wanting her for a long time as i have a special little outfit for her. Thanks ice cream girl i really love them all. Zelfs, oh my gosh they are just the cutest, out of all the possible blind bag zelfs the koala is hands down the best by far, good choosing icecream girl she really truely is my favorite one, i am so happy to have her and peacock is super too I love her colours

I really had to laugh at the liquoce, I saw it and thought sweet the kids wont eat this (actually  my son was at kindy so he missed the fun which was nice as I was able to have more presents to open without having to share  :P), well it turns out on this rainy wet day that my daughter is a fan of the stuff, I think she ate 2 pieces while I was enjoying my presents.. serouisly she was wild after, the sugar high was like no other i had seen, she ran around so much i just had to laugh but after a high must come the low and she is crashed out asleep which is a bonus for me

Icecreamgirl, that Sweet Suds is lovely. :heart: I find it funny that you ended up with two Olafs in one week. :lol: Gonna get to the point where you could do a shot of an Elsa and Ana doll together where it looks like Elsa is trying to make him over and over. "No, we need the nose a little more to the right. No, not that right. No wait, now we need it more to the left." :lol: Don't mind me, my morning caffeine is just kicking in.

Nemubones, the ponywear is cute and Sweet Pop and Princess Tiffany / Pearl are both really neat looking. Also, I see a Sailor Venus and something Disney Princess (pencil case? sticker book?) Never seen that particular type of M&Ms before either. Interesting!

And PONIES!!!! I was so happy when I opened these packages. I love the rainbow baby ponies and only had Baby Brightbow until now...Baby Sunribbon is so cute! I also received Baby Firefly. Mikeysgrrrl must be psychic because I was just thinking about how much I wanted her since I have two versions of her mommy already. I love her little baby necklace too! And Posey is so beautiful! I love her pose and her hair is still nice and pink. And my first alternate rehair!!! Bowtie is one of my favorite ponies and I love her with the darker locks. Thank you so much Mikeysgrrrl. As if the ponies weren't special and beautiful enough the next gifts I opened really took my breath away!!

So glad that you loved your box, Cassstorm! I learned how to pack years ago when my Dad worked for a moving company. I didn't do any heavy lifting, but I worked with him during the summers and on weekends packing smaller items for people so they could fit more into a truck.

Totally sorry to hear your magnet's back broke. I wasn't sure how sturdy that design would be. A shame that box didn't hold it together. At least it shouldn't be too bad to get re-attached, since it's a wooden clothes pin. Still maddening, though.

I wondered whether to leave a note for you to check the tin, but figured I'd let you know if you missed the Peanut Butter Cups. For anyone curious, it takes 7 to fill a Cubeez. I'll definitely be using those for that in boxes again. People seem to like the boxes and a lot of people love Reese's. :lol:

I can't take credit for the gorgeous ribbon / bow work. That's Sheti's, not mine. The ponies came to me that way and my mom found Spring Parade at Value Village a few months ago. I just made sure her hair got fixed up. I'm glad you like the ribbons, though. I think they suit the ponies--especially that Dancing Butterflies. :)

Yours looked just fine :hug: but I hear yah! I *HATE* wrapping a swap box. It's the only part of a pony swap that I do not care for. Ponies are soooo difficult to wrap! They are just so lumpy!

Yours looked just fine :hug: but I hear yah! I *HATE* wrapping a swap box. It's the only part of a pony swap that I do not care for. Ponies are soooo difficult to wrap! They are just so lumpy!

I adore wrapping gifts, but I will agree that ponies are one of the weirdest shapes ever to try and make look "pretty". I focus on the colors, textures and details of how I wrap stuff instead. I'm actually pretty lousy at actually "wrapping" things--wrapping the stuff for this box took me 6.5 hours. :lol: It's colors and themes that I enjoy. That and I always keep something chocolate and a cup of tea nearby. :D

Lots of sour and fruity snacks :) And my very favorite extra- a mini (6x6 perfect fit that topped the box) Siberian Husky calendar! I own two Sibes and literally only ever get Sibe calendars :)

Yay!!!! I'm so glad you like everything! When you said you love dogs and own/ run your own doggie day care I knew I would have a blast spoiling you! All of my friends, co-workers, family and anyone within hearing range know I am *obsessed* with dogs. (My black German Shepherd in particular!) I take him to doggie day care twice a week and I love seeing the look on people's faces when I say that! :lol: So while I bought some great doggie extras for you I got a few for myself too! :P

Isn't Baby Twilight cute? I've had her in my collection for a while, but I am downsizing my collection a bit so I figured I'd send her along with her Momma.

My box came in from Seachanger and boy was I spoiled! :faint:

I had a bit of a trouble with the box being held by customs, I don't know how they managed to conclude that a box with colorful deco tape on it was not a gift but bought goods. And I guess I wasn't convincing enough on the phone 'cause it came to me with a yellow piece of tape that said "Opened by customs".  :yikes: I guess this view was enough for them to realize it was actually a gift and not commercial items.  :P

I got my box from the sweetest and most awesome tigerlilyx. It was probably delivered yesterday but our locked mailbox is about a mile away from our house. I have a major cold and didn't even go get the mail yesterday. So today after dropping off the oldest at school I went by the mailboxes and it was there!!! :cheer: And it is awesome! Tigerlilyx must be psychic or she's really been spying on me because I love everything. It's just filled with kawaii goodness!

First of all the whole box was wrapped in blue paper, my favorite color. And when I opened it it was wrapped in watermelon tape. :heart: And inside was star confetti and straw. Amazing!

Take a look at these extras. I can't tell you how much I love blind bags and stickers and tokidoki and Tsums. Sally, Moofia and Ariel! :lovey: I've actually been looking for these Disney keychains and Ariel locally but without any luck. I don't mind at all that Ariel is not official. I have her finally! But what really takes the cake is the lanyard and the pins by a local toy designer! I adore them. :heart: And that card also by a local designer is so funny. It's going straight in my smash journal. The little notebook, erasers and charm are for my two girls. They are so cute and my two year old has been playing with the pony erasers for the last half an hour. So sweet of you!

G4 "miss" Cheerilee! I love the episode of FiM where the Cutie Mark Crusaders try to get her and Big Mac together, so I am very happy to add her to my collection.

G4 Trixie Lulamoon. I've been collecting since February and I've never seen her in a store. She's not a show favorite, but she has one of the most beautiful designs in G4 and I definitely wanted her as part of my collection. She's really pretty and definitely does not disappoint. :heart:

Shining Armor! This is another pony that I haven't had any luck finding in stores and I'm pretty sure that my Cadance is going to be happy to see him. :lol: He's also my first "official" boy MLP (I'm not counting my Coco Berry here) which is quite exciting. I think the difference in hair is quirky and unique. He'll definitely stand out among the ladies. :lol:

G3 Rarity, who has super long, sparkly, tinsel filled hair! Rarity (G4) was the first pony that I was really drawn to when I started collecting, and I've wanted a g3 version of her for quite a while. I'm doubly thrilled to have this version of her, because my very first pony, back in February, was a fashion style Rarity that has extremely long hair. The two of them are going to get along well, I think. :)

Who could be next? It's Baby Butterdrop. I absolutely love her colors and I didn't know her hair was glittery, but that makes her even cuter. I've wanted her for a while now. I don't have many yellow ponies yet and I think she'll bring a nice burst of color to one of my shelves.

The moment I saw a bit of this pony's hair I was pretty sure I knew who she was, and I couldn't tear the paper off fast enough. :lol: Soda Float is the G3 that drew my attention to them when I started collecting them months ago, yet she's been stubborn and slipped through my fingers a few times now. No more! :D I finally have this lovely pony, whose cute little symbol marks one of my favorite childhood memories (my aunt use to make us Soda Floats when she babysat us). :)

Looks like Baby Susie is about to have a new friend. :) I've always loved Glory--she's one of the few ponies I remember owning--and I've always found the baby version really adorable. So I'm definitely thrilled to add this to the shelf where my G1s are kept.

I love blue ponies and Mainsail has been one I've had my eye on for a few months now. I love the blue and yellow color combo she has going on, and her symbol is really pretty. I haven't quite decided who I'm going to sit her beside yet, but that's a rather fun "problem" to have. :lol: I've almost bought her about four times now--good thing I held off. I much prefer getting ponies from others then just buying them. It attaches a memory and makes them mean more.

Not one, but two Baby pony necklaces! I was pleasantly surprised! I've been looking for this particular Pinkie Pie and another wonderful merry-go-round pony for my collection! Both of them are amazing! Baby Splashes is the first Baby Fancy Pants pony I have, so she's special  ^.^

That Pinkie Pie is really unique with the 3D symbol, Baby Splashes is such a bright, cheery yellow (and I love the whole Baby fancy Pants thing to begin with :lol: ) and your new Merry Go Round pony is really neat looking--the MGR ponies are definitely one of the most inventive lines Hasbro came up with. wow epic boxes, You can measure the box!! Unless Australian rulers are different im pretty sure the measurements are the exact ones u all have! lol
I also am very good at fitting square pegs into round holes!

Dear ChipsteRJ,

I apologize for the late brag. I was out of the country for two weeks and then this past week every time I wasn't at work I kept falling asleep. A fifteen hour time difference gives you some serious jet-lag! Here is my brag at long last and thank you ever so much for your patience.

Heaps and heaps of petite ponies! I was blown away by all of them! There are so many varieties too! Crystal ones and pearlized ones and all the different poses! Wow, wow, wow!

What a fantastic box Saja! I love the deflocked rehaired twist. Her body is the most amazing rich dark purple! All the G2's are so cute too and that chocolate looks nummy. Congrats :)

Yes i deflocked and rehaired twist :) i was trying to go for peacock colours

So happy the box reached you safely and in less than 7 weeks this time :) in saying that a months wait is long enough, appearantly aussie has postage strikes atm
