Pony Corral / Re: How many of us have ponies buried in sales boxes?
« on: February 09, 2018, 07:26:06 AM »
I have soooo many. I need to sort through them all and decide what I want to keep and what I want to sell but work and sometimes I have classes and the critters and the kid and so much going on lol!

And today I am home sick on the couch so I could take the climb up the stairs and grab a box and start cleaning but it seems soooooo far away lol!

So yes I have the intent to sell but will it ever really happen? Who knows.

All my years of collecting and never found a mimic but multiples of the others.

I have gotten three cats that way all named Lucky lol! Maybe after make or model of the car it was? Hour long trip on a car explorer might fit her haha!

I am sooo bad at naming things. This why I have repeated names.

They want repeat business and are going to work to get you back so I wouldn't worry. Just read reviews. I know out of three or four places here there are better places.

Always have mine done. They do chip but oh well!!

I do reds. I have probably twenty different shades. My husband says they all look the same but they are not!! I use a high gloss top coat or a flat with some of them.

 I also like some blues.

Gore orphanage is one of our local ones. I lived right off it so if someone would drive me home when I was younger they would get scared and roll up their windows. Funny to me lol. Story goes there was an orphanage that burned and the kids will knock on your car window. The place is creepy as can be. Weird stuff does happen there. Google gore orphanage for pics. I have gone canoeing and turned up the creek there and found so many dead raccoons and fish and it was the creepiest thing I have ever seen. The real story is the family that built the place had all their children die of cholera I think and the wife went on like they were alive forever. I think that's creepier than an orphanage burning down :(

I know there are more but I'm brain dead apparently right now lol!

We have a cheese festival here every year and vermilion has the wooly bear festival which is interesting. Used to be a big thing when I was little and in school.

My brothers ex did an internship and now works at sea world. You have to have a degree. Higher the better and it is very competitive. Usually work unpaid for a while to get your foot in the door. I talked to s kid the other day who just got hired by our zoo and he said it was horribly competitive and he had been doing volunteer opportunities and then internships since he was young. Jobs don't open often and like my brothers ex you may move cross country to get one.

If a rat got in with him he could attack it. They are not good with other animals except their own kind. They are a ton of work. I wouldn't put them in a pony room as the smell could stick to the plastic. They have a ton of health issues. I'd worry ear infection could be a sign of something else??

They are fun and cute but I always had two to occupy each other to. Think about if it's a good time.

I had them for years but gave them to a friend when I got my new house.

They are very cute and I loved their noises! I also used to be a night person and part of getting rid of them is I work days now!

They do tend to be nippy. Even the ones handled all the time.

Was neat talking to doctors at work that live where they are from. They said they are such pests and they would hear them outside chattering and then slam on the roof lol.

They are cheap here. I have them offered to me all the time because people knew I had them and see them on Craigslist 75$-150. You want a giant cage though and not a tiny bird cage that people put them in.

They can drown so keep toilets closed. I ordered my food from a place in Florida. Forgot the name and no link in my phone. Also got my pouches and cages through them.

Just talking about them makes me want them but can't justify it not being up at night. They are very neat critters!

And pairs are best because in reality your not going to be with them when they are up.

I work in healthcare and see the disaster Obamacare is on a daily basis. I have to do precerts. My patients are again dropping ins because of cost but now having a fine!! My ins is insane!! I work and it's nuts! My deductible is five grand. I pay something like 200/check to. And prices go up this year. Just got the pack but haven't looked.

So yeah. People that get completely free ins may have seen some improvement. Those that pay for it were screwed. Those are the people that came out and voted. We are not women hating racists. I work with this stuff every day. I used to volunteer for the Democratic Party for gods sake!! They made a joke of themselves this year!!

And talk about being a bully!! The way the dnc ran their campaign was disgusting. All they did was act like it was a big click of celebrity and if you vote for him you are a women hating bigot. What?! Give me a break. That backfired on them. I see the failure at work everyday. I don't care what BeyoncĂ© tells me to do. Sorry but I care about my patients and what is killing them and services they can not get and this year many are not going to have ins again. It's a disgusting system. And don't even get me started on all different kinds of assistance fraud that "doesn't exist".

I've had dogs live to 17 and never fed a senior food. It's just advertising. The good foods have what you would want in it anyway.

In most sr foods they have more filler and charge more and have just some low levels of joint supplement already present in other foods or you could give in a cheap pill.

I saw your other post, know you just got her! Lol! But it's not hard. Just reduce. Vets try to sell you on diet this and that. Just reduce intake of good food.
