Hi ponies,

I would like to add a picture of Scandinavian Gusty to the Nirvana Gallery!  ^.^

She is maybe a bit of a grey area, but i think it would be useful for people to have some nice pictures of her so they can see the difference between her and normal Gusty :) I have a feeling she is the sort of pony that can easily slip under the radar as it is only little differences that make her unique!

Can anyone please help and show me (and the rest of us) the differences? :)  I know her eyes, symbols and such are different ;)

I am not an expert on this, even though I am looking for that pony. :)  Want it because Gusty's my favourite and I live in a country where that version was released. I thought she was like the US one except her eyes are green. I saw a Gusty for sale on Etsy earlier, from an Australian seller. It says in the description that her eyes are green but it's hard to tell by the pictures. If I've understood things right, the Scandinavian and the Australian Gusty is the same. I think I've seen this pony being used as avatar by someone here so someone probably has it. :)  I'd like to be enlightened too. The information I have so far is from my little wiki.

The first one you have is the US version. The second one is the European Movie Star release (commonly called UK or NSS).
The Gusty in question is a third version with glittery symbols (like the US) & lime green eyes (like the European).

So was the Scandinavian Gusty sold in New Zealand also?  (since we also had the alt birthflowers).  Must keep an eye out for her here now :)

I was offered a Scandinavian Gusty last year and turned her down as I really wanted another pony at the time.
Pretty gutted I passed her up as you don't see her around much, I've been looking for another ever since as she's one of the only Gusty's i don't have...

Does Scandinavian Gusty's horn look super long or is it just me?!

I think it's the angle of the photo. Her head looks enormous as well. My suspicion is too much zoom and standing too close. The horn has just as many "sections" as the US one.

I found it so much easier to find UK and then Scandinavian Gusty over a nice US one! I think its completely subjective to where you are in the world how you can track them down.

This is a really quick camera phone picture I have in my photobucket on a poor quality camera phone but it shows the same eye colour, different symbols between the US and Scandinavian versions for a quick reference just now. I can easily take high res pics of the 3 together PKW but I think someone offered before me so no doubt you ll get some great shots!

PS... Does anyone know who's Gusty collection this is in the bottom photo?
I have been trying to find out for ages as they have a blue symbol Gusty like mine and i'm trying to find out more info on her.  Does anyone from Scandinavia know if a blue symboled version was sold in your countries, as previously a member her said they had been. Hoping to sold the mystery!

Actually, blue symbols on Movie Star Gusty isn't a variation, sorry! It is due to sun fading. It happens with some ponies that has purple symbols (like baby Crumpet for example) the red pigment in the color fade away more easely which means that the purple turns blue. :)

Yes theres some debate about the blue symbols, some people believe she is faded and others think she was made that way....  Maybe one day a MOC will show up then we will know for sure : ) x

Even the MOCs can be faded, unfortunately that's not a way of proving it one way or another either XD
