Title: Pullip yeolume: where can I find one?
Post by: PinkieShyPony on September 16, 2016, 12:53:51 PM
Hello everyone!
I recently saw some photos of a custom yeolume doll and I loved it so much I really wanna make a custom version of my own. The problem is I can't seem to find any that aren't brand new and pretty pricey. Since I wanna make a custom I would much rather get it nude or used to save a little money. Does anyone have any idea where I could go looking?  Or is anyone looking to sell one or make a trade?

Pullip Style often has some dolls in a Dent Box Sale. The dolls on that sale page have small problems, like dent in a box or a broken accessory.

Groove also sold some Make It Own kits some time ago and they were really affordable. Those kits didn't come with faceup and were ready to customize and I think it would be a good move for you to buy one of them. They are out of production right now but they pop up here and there occasionally. I bet ebay has some right now.

edit: Oh sorry, I blabbered about a wrong doll type!!  >_< :drunk:

You could try eBay or Dolly Market. I sold my Pullips at DM a couple years ago.

Yeolume is discontinued and unfortunately very pricey second hand. I've been looking for months for one under $100. They're not really available cheap.

Yes. Sales were extreme slow for the first doll and many retailers did not order Blackberry because of that. Unfortunately blackberry was the better release. She was showing up at Tuesday morning pretty regularly for about $40 but since those dried up, she's been near impossible to locate

Darn!  I was hoping that they weren't discontinued. I know that they haven't had anything new in a few years

Podo is actually still available via Pullip.net they are based out of Korea so shipping is a bit though http://pullip.net/product/Yeolume-Podo/233/?cate_no=58&display_group=1#none

Thank you. That's good to know :). But I feel like with shipping I might as well just get one off eBay. Guess I will just have to bite the bullet and buy a new one.

I actually just sold my Yeolume Blackberry doll a few months ago for $90 on ebay and that was with free ship, so it is possible to get one for under $100.

Just barely yes. But not for customization purposes :-)

Yeah plus I really hate to buy a brand new doll just to take her apart ya know. I'll just wait and maybe I will get lucky and someone will wanna sell their used one.
