Third Custom G3 Waverunner *New Pictures Added

I promis I will rehair Fluttershy tomorrow!!  I have just found a different rehairing method, and it works great! I was getting so frustrated with Waverunner and wanted to toss her around the room.  I'm not pleased with her eyes. You can't really see unless you are looking close at her.

I will make better pictures tomorrow, but I just finished her and I wanted to show you guys

She had a FBR in Acrylics, as wel as her Eyes and Symbols. Her Hair is DH Sea Nymph and White Witch. Sealed with matte and shiny varnish

Great job! You will get better at the eyes as you go. What helped me at first, I would leave the eye paint on my pony, then just paint the iris the color I wanted.

Eyes weren't a problem for me with my first 2 customs, but this one, ugh.. and only the display side, the other one looks good

I love how the pictures turned out  My next custom will probably be one for my mom, but I have to order hair for her. She wanted a G1 as bait, but I don't really have a White Bait Pony yet.. I think a FBR in white will be a pain to do

Thanks! I really enjoy making G1's into G3's     My next 2 customs I have planned will be 'fantasy' customs. Painting is my favorite part! 

Umm, the rehairing method, the one I used at first (let me see if I can explain) I had a Dolly Needle, and a tread tied in a loop, I had to stick the needle through from the inside which was awefull and then pull the plug through. The one I'm using right now, umm, I saw a tutorial, hold on I'll search for it That's way easier

Have you tried the rehairing tool method?  I find it goes quite quickly once you get the hang of it and seems like it would be much quicker than both of the methods that you have mentioned.
