I'm wondering about JPP's process. You're always coming up with gorgeous new designs and seem to use a lot of techniques in paint, hairstyles, sculpting, etc. What's your process for figuring out what techniques you'd like to try out for different ponies, how do you work these things out, how do you practice, etc.? Do you start on a pony and decide to try out something new on it, or do you work out the techniques first and then think about how you might like to use them?

Just out of curiosity.
