I should have posted this girl a lot sooner, but pictures on phone, and... yeah. I had the lovely ButtercreamDream as my advent swap partner, and this was her Christmas Eve present. I had a hard time sending this pony away, but she went to a good home.  visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHair is Dollyhair. I had to use Buttercreme, of course, but I can't remember what the other colours were. I think the brown was something that sounded delicious, though. Hi! Yeah, it's been a while- no time to pony. I've had a few ponies waiting to be posted, but I couldn't do it until they got to their new homes. I'll put them all in one post to save space. First. for seaponey: Rainbow G3 Medley. There's a story behind why her symbol is a knight and the flower on his shield, having to do with a couple who recently got married (aww!). ...I'm just going to condense a few ponies that I haven't posted yet into one thread. In no particular order: Party Slice, for our neighbour's 7th birthday. She loves coming over to look at my ponies, so I thought she should have one of her own. Not rehaired, but she got new eyes and symbols. I really love how her eyes turned out. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy husband's cousin just turned 13; she's a figure skater, and her favourite colours are orange and purple. This one got new hair, symbols, eyes, and a scarf... all she didn't get was a name! Her mane (Dollyhair Satsuma, Sour Grapes, and... another orange. Mango Tango, maybe?) is still wet here- kind of a last-minute project! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginOK, I seriously can't remember what I named her, but this pony was for Colorscapesart. I kind of miss her, but she's got a good home. I love how the orange and yellow look against that crisp, white body. Hair is Dollyhair... um... Satsuma, Mango Tango, and Golden Delicious, I think. So I finally got to order my husband's birthday presents today, and none of them will be here for his birthday. He has to have SOMETHING to open aside from cards and pictures of what he's getting, right? So he's getting this little fellow. My husband's not into ponies so much, but he loves Green Lantern stuff... better than a kick in the pants, right? This was so weird... My husband was actually the one who got to the toy section first (well, after the kids) and found bags of ponies. He has no idea what he's looking for, but I appreciate his enthusiasm! He handed me five bags- one was just fakies, and the others seemed to be just G3.5, which I usually leave behind... but then I saw the newborns' moms (I don't think they have names?), and decided to grab them. And that bag with a fakie had a G2 and a G4 and 2 G3 McDonald's ponies, so I got that... And oh, hey, a G3 pegasus! Fun. And what... BABY MOONDANCER! I already had her, but once this one gets a tail, she'll be an upgrade for me. Very exciting! So we found G1, G2, G3, lots of G3.5, and G4 in one form or another, all in one day- and this at a Value Village that often has nothing but fakies. I thought it was funny. Every gen all cleaned up (I did get that spot off of the G3's head later): visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAll of the G3.5. This is Piscie. She's a playful little merpony who likes nothing better than to collect beautiful treasures from the ocean floor to spread over the shores for all of the beach-combing land ponies to find. She keeps a few treasures for herself, of course, but nothing makes her happier than peering out from the waves to see the joy on another pony's face when she finds a perfect shell or bit of sea glass. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginPiscie started as a project to use up extra when I mixed too much Apoxie Sculpt, but became her own project when I started adding scales; six months later she's FINALLY done. I tried to give her a natural feel; I've never caught a fish with perfect scales, and I didn't think an adventurous merpony would have them either. I found that leaving the A-S to dry a bit longer gave the scales a fun texture. She does have a sister who's more into her looks, though... I'll have to do something different on that one. Tail is made with Apoxie sculpt over an aluminum foil base, painted with craft acrylics; eyes and eyeshadow (which is metallic blue and green to match her scales, not sure if you can tell in the pics) is the same paint. Eyes sealed with Mod Podge. Beads were not made by me, but I did collect her other treasures near my house. Necklaces are removable (see second picture), but to me she looks a wee bit naked without them. Not that there's anything wrong with that for a pony...  Oh, hair! Hair is daiquiri ice, mermaid (ha!), a tiny bit of Bobby Blue for depth and a sprinkling of Starlight for shimmer. Casually braided- she's not a fussy girl, this one! we just went on a week-long trip, so I went to Value Village on the way out and on the way back. Heading out, there wasn't much. No bags on the wall... but I got my very first styling size G3, and another plush pony (not MLP) like the one I found a few months ago! Then on the way back, three bags, which included three G3 ponies, a G3.5 Starsong... and a G1 Birthflower Pony! Daffodil is in great condition (after major clean-up!) except for a little pink spot on her DS ear. Kind of exciting for me. My G3's... I'm sad that there were stickers on RD's neck that left bleached-out pink spots on her. I had no money, but I'm going to have to buy her next time we're in that town. She'll be my only MIB pony! EDIT: Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in Cherry Bomb- it means a lot to me when you guys like my work! I'm pretty attached to her, so she's not for sale, but if anyone would like something in a similar style, I'd be happy to make a few friends for her with similar symbols/eyes/hairstyles. Like a little pony gang. If anyone wants an Orange Pop, Apple Explosion, Pomegranate Grenade, heck, even a Peppermint Burst or a Molotov Cocktail (?!), you know where to find me.  And now, back to out regularly scheduled showing... Yeah, I was listening to the Dazed and Confused soundtrack in the car, and Cherry Bomb sounded like an awesome name for a pony.  She was just a one-day project (plus hairstyling after the glue dried, of course), but I'm really happy with her. Two weeks of not ponying was too long! Cherry Bomb was a G4 Cupcake (I think... the bait was stripped a long time ago. Definitely darker than Pinkie Pie, anyway!). Her hair is Kiss of Death, Black Magick, and (appropriately enough) Cherry Pie. If I ever say I want to do short hair on a pony again, please smack me- I stressed out over this way more than I should have over a little project! I like how it turned out, though- long hair just didn't suit her. Symbol and eyes are a combination of craft and artist's acrylics. I decided to throw a custom into my "Just a Little Swap" box this time; my partner loves autumn just like me, so I used my favourite basic bait/hair combo to make this little girl. I had SUCH a hard time letting her go! I might need to make her a sister just for myself some day when I have time again. Anyway, she made it safely to her new home, so I can share. Maple Fall was a Rainbow Dash bait, but I don't remember the exact hair blend. Definitely some Lemon Drop in there, and the red is wither Pomme D'Amour or Cherry Pie, and the orange is Satsuma. No name, really- I was calling her Falling Petals, but I think there might be a better name for her. Maybe in simplysteffie's head. My partner said she likes pink with brown, green eyes, long hair, and I think she tends to favor styled hair, so I did that, too. She loves cherry blossoms, so I tried to paint them fairly realistically. I was happy with how the paintwork came out on this pony, and I think the hair works, too. Hope you like her, simplysteffie! EDIT: Oops, forgot to say what the hair blend is! If I remember correctly, it's heartthrob, fairy's breath, poison ivy and a little bit of kitten. Probably some Pussycat, too... I was playing around with it a lot that night! Yeah, I'm terrible at naming ponies... let me know if you've got something better! I made this little girl yesterday, after pawing through my bait box and hair supply searching for inspiration. I'm really happy with her; she was going to be in my Etsy shop, but now I'm not sure. I hate when I get attached to them! She's got 3 shimmery dragonflies, because dragonflies are awesome. Hair is Pacific Ocean, Atomic Turquoise and Starlight, paints are various acrylics, sealed with Mod Podge. I didn't make the wings. Thanks for looking! My cousin (who had me make Lady Bugg for her daughter a while ago) asked me to make a Little red Riding Hood custom for Lyla's first birthday. Not to be played with/touched until she's much older, of course, but she wanted a cloth cape that could be moved around. We agreed on a picnic basket symbol, and I added a wolf pawprint on her NDS. Hair is Evil Enchantress (I think!). Paints are various grades of acrylic, sealed with mod podge.
