[Help] How do I remove the head from a Precious Pocket pony?

I have a bait condition Lil'Pocket who I'd like to use for a custom project, but I can't figure out how to get her head off. Should I use an X-Acto knife to remove it, or is there some other method I should try? Any help will be appreciated!

I've customized lil pocket :3

the head comes off just like any other G1 pony, but the plastic is a little tougher. Heat it up to soften the plastic, and you can use an xacto knife to assist with the removal
