Wow, she is really neat with those little opening windows!  And those wings are some of the best I have seen!  Nice!

Wow, that is an amazing compliment, because I admire our customizers' wing talent so much, and was really intimidated to try my own. Thank you!

Thanks again everyone , your comments mean a lot to me, especially with a concept like this. Swaps are so fun, I don't think I'd have tried something like this if not for Salli's form. I swear I need to do a non-Halloween one some day, even if it is my favorite :silly:

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I vaguely recall, or totally made up :silly:, Tina (Dollyhair) saying she wouldn't be able to order the GITD again. A while ago. Like I said I'm not 100% sure, but I seem to remember thinking to myself that it should just be taken off the site then, since she can't get it back.

I haven't tried any of the substitutes myself, because like others have mentioned, it seems they're all a polysomething type of hair which I just haven't bothered to try yet, because I usually have nylon and I know they won't mix well.

Oh she is so cute Roogna! I really like your eye style btw. I love her kitty tail and the subtle cat hair markings throughout. Her outfit is super adorable, I love how you have the hat little cat ears. I really like her color scheme too.

Oh she is way awesome! Those are my favorite Poe poems too :3 The whole double-sided thing to represent the 2 different poems is really neat, but the trick you did with the hair is my absolute favorite part, I love it! Very cool idea ^^

Gradient hair is so lovely, but I especially like that Moondancer and Glory pair! You choose such neat color combinations.

This pony is so cute! I love her and her little hoard of pumpkins, and that Slash Squash costume is hilariously adorable. It reminds me of Invader Zim :'D I really love her cute little hair feathers too, and her lovely autumn-like theme. The costume cracks me up. Not to mention you did a great job crocheting that yourself!

This color scheme is beautiful, I love how the hair and body look together! The symbol is so delicate and subtle, and again I really love the color choices. Nice sculpting too.

Omg that symbol Jupi, she's amazing! That symbol is so beautiful, your detail painting blows my mind. I really love the eye style on this one too, and the simple color theme so that gorgeous symbol can really stand out and steal the show like it deserves.

Isn't the costume great y'all?! This custom is so perfect for me and my love of all things black birds. The dress is so pretty, it forms to the pony perfectly. And besides the awesome costume, the pony herself is gorgeous, I love her colors and the symbol and how you recreated it in the eyes so much! And she looks awesome in the dark with the glowing :D You did a great job on her granate, she's happily on display on my desk so I can look at her throughout the day! I love her!

I love the realistic textures on this one, she really looks like a mummified little pony. The barely-there, peeking eyes are so cute, I love that you overlapped them to keep it really authentic. I really like the little charms too!

I love that you used a purple base for the candycorn dragon, all the colors really pop! Using worbla was such a cool idea too. I like the blues you used for the gradient on the PotO pony, and those symbols...I can't even draw people well, let alone painting their faces on pony rumps!

This is so pretty! I love the gold colorswirl pattern, and going with an autumn theme was a perfect choice! The gold swirls go with that so well. The leaves you used are gorgeous, and I looove that hair blend!

This is why I'm afraid of clowns. This pony creeps me out lol, you did a great job capturing IT! I admit I didn't look long lol, but the symbol is great and then the details added to the pony, like the ruffle and those creepy eyes, are just perfect!

I am still amazed every time I look at her, blackestbird. Just amazing! Consider me a fan of yours :D

Also I FINALLY got my pony fixed so I can hopefully ship tomorrow.

I am loving looking at everyone's creations. Halloween swaps produce the most amazing ponies, don't they?

You're so sweet Salli! I'm so so happy you love her so much!

That's why this swap is my favorite, I think it produces some really amazing, creative customs! Not that other swaps don't, but I always really love the Halloween swap ponies [of course I'm not biased at all by my favorite holiday, nope :shifty:].

Long post!

Thank you all so so much for the lovely compliments! I was unsure about the concept right up to finishing, wasn't sure how well it actually translated, so I'm so happy to hear y'all love and really get it! I really appreciate the comments on the sculpting too, especially those wings, I'm still really new to that so it's really nice to hear! I'm so happy y'all love the shutters too, they were my absolute must-have and figure out concept! Y'all are encouraging, thank you so much, your sweet comments really mean a lot to me!

Never seen a custom with doors over the symbol before! How cool!
My favorite part is her possessed eye, though. It's beautiful but disturbing when you think about it.

Thank you so much for the comment on the eye especially, as that was totally what I was going for! I wanted something creepy, but not outwardly gory.

Am I a lucky pony or WHAT?? I ADORE everything about her! I have to keep opening and shutting the shutters and I love the wing shingles too. All of it. So. Amazing.

Did you make the hinges, blackest?

I'm over the moon that you love your pony so much Salli!  I'm thrilled you like the shutters so much, that's what I was hoping for! :D It's definitely my favorite feature, so I'm really happy to see you like it so much too. Thank you so much!

I did make the hinges myself! ^^

Absolutely gorgeous!! I adore the concept and your execution is magnificent!! I LOVE the shutters and the window, and that hair blend is stunning - but those eyes are my favourite part! ^.^

This is amazing coming from you, because when I got the idea for the mismatched eye, I thought about your zombie ponies about how to achieve the effect I wanted [not that I pulled one up to exactly copy, I just thought about them and tried what I thought would come close to that glazed over look ^^]. So thank you so much for the kind words, especially about the eyes!

Oh boy! What a creative pony, I love everything from the shutters to the hair colours! (Love that her forelock is white - it goes perfectly with the possessed eye, as if her hair was gradually losing the original colour too.) Her eyes are so pretty and you did a fantastic job on your first pair of sculpted wings. Gorgeous custom!

*distracts Salli and snatches pony* :ninja:

Thanks so much Griffin! I'm so happy you picked that up about her hair color choices, because that's exactly why I chose the placement I did! I even almost did it as a gradient, but I really wanted the single shock of white, I thought that would make it more obvious. I appreciate the comment [and all your sweet words] about my first sculpted wings too, I was so nervous to be making them but I really wanted to try!

I'll add it to the first post, but I put some different shots [and some the same] on my IG. I had some more control over how I was seeing things there, since I could do it from my phone which while a small screen, isn't all stretched out XD
