A little drawing help? Twinkle eyes.

Hey!  i dunno if this is the right board to post on but I need a little help drawing twinkle eyes, does anyone have a tutorial or just a suggestion?

Try looking at a close-up screenshot of one's face while you draw.

I don't know of any tutorials, but I bet there are some people who could share their versions to help you out.  I've only drawn TEs a couple times and I usually just draw my eye like i normally would and then draw the gym where the iris would be.

It's a pixel tutorial by FirstFear on deviantart but I think you could apply the colouring technicue to twinkle eyes
