Finally got to draw Shear Luck again. My absolute favorite picture of her thus far! Her flank freckles still aren’t showing up all that well, I need to see if making them just straight out white will help. She was originally going to have back legs, but I couldn't them to my liking, so they're not there. But I like it better this way. Also one of my first times drawing an open mouth, and it came out alright (I always have issues with getting the bottom jaw to look right).  I was going to give her some shading, but since I'm not very good at shading, I decided to hold off on that until another time, maybe.

So pretty! I love that it is lineart-less on the outside and the big pink "shine" around her. And you really gave her a great smile, open pony mouts can be such a hassle!
Removing the hind legs gave a great composition and flow to the artwork. And I don't think you should shade her, she looks great as she is now and the subtle linearts on the hair and front hoofs would probably be lost.

She is adorable!!!  I think adding a little contrast to the spots would help, they're pretty light.  I really really love her hair.  And you did a good job on her mouth too  :)

yay, great picture! and finally i get to see her dapple - i was never able to see that when i made adoptables of her ^^

Thanks for the comments everyone! :lovey: I think I'm going to make her spots more white next time I draw her, and maybe a little bit bigger, so hopefully they'll be more noticeable.
