I like Pepsi and maybe child me would enjoy this- but I'm turning 20 this month. I'm not a big soda fan anymore and either do I like marshmallows (though peeps are good because the kinda-hard sugary coating)

I'm willing to taste it but I bet I won't like it : p

I am not going to assisted living, my case manager told me about it, and well... It's just not for me, I suppose. So right now I am thinking about 'going on an adventure' to Nashville after my SSI is set up, I've lived on the streets before but this time I'd be travelling a great distance  (Baltimore, Maryland to Nashville, Tennessee)

I keep on asking myself "is it worth it?". My roommate isn't so kind to me, in fact every situation I've been in has been abusive. It makes me worry whether or not the next one I'll be in will be the same, as that's all I've dealt with all my life. That is why I do not like the idea of Assisted Living anymore, it turns out you share a place with many other people and that is very scary to me- I don't trust people too much. I'd rather go my own way and have fun, the world is my playground. I don't have a true home nor family, so really what's the point of being alive? What is the point of living? Where am I to go? I keep asking myself these questions and I don't have any answers.
Death does not scare me, I have lost a lot in my life so I'm always wondering if I'd be the next to leave this planet. I see people my age talk about 'buying a car' or trying to make a name for themselves, people my age have housing and have families. Normally, if you are 19 and you are homeless without a family- people will assume you did something wrong, but I was merely dealt a bad hand at life. I am not a druggie, I am not a drinker, I am not an abuser. I'm physically disabled, I can't drive. I can make friends but I find myself distancing away in fear of losing them too.

I have to keep on thinking about the positives. So much has happened in my life, I feel so old- but I know this is only the beginning. All I want to do is live on my own in a nice house, with all my collections, and having a few pets.  I do not like how everyone relies on technology too much, I can't even apply for a job without it being online. It's scary, it's untrustworthy.

But I'll manage. If there's a will, there's a way. Thanks for listening, I guess. Hope everyone here is having a swell time

I got woken up by a seizure and ever since, I've been feeling the terrible effects of the meds : (
Been really drowsy and feeling electrified, I haven't had a seizure in a while so this was completely unexpected. I hate it so much, I want to feel normal. This been going on all day, ugh. So uncomfortable.

Dizzy and nauseous again, plus a headache. My face is breaking out. I have a swollen lymph node or clogged gland or something under my arm and it really hurts! Just all around kind of miserable.

That's no good at all! Tbh, I've been dealing with similar stuff but swollen lymph nodes is a step too far- maybe you should get that checked out : 0
I've heard that's a sign of infection or even cancer- plus the added bonus of headaches and breaking out? It makes me worried for you. Hope you are feeling better, hope you get better soon <3 Best wishes.

I hate how a lot of the stuff I see on Craigslist are 'curb alerts' in the Free section. I can't drive ever, so why would I risk taking so long in the blazing sun when chances are the stuff I wanted would be gone?

I wish Craigslist would add a 'curb alert' section on their site so I'd stop seeing those.

« on: May 12, 2020, 01:21:07 PM »
They can't all be called proper "collections", but I do love to gather the following:

- Sylvanian Families
- Jewellery
- T-shirts
- Anything related to The Cranberries
- Anything related to my favourite island
- Anything (magical) forest-related (toadstools, fairies, trees, owls, pine cones, etc.)
- Semi-precious stones/crystals
- Cat hair. :P

Hehehe, cat hair. You have a cat? What kind? Also what's your favorite island? I too like to gather theme-related items- and you are right, I'm not exactly sure if they are 'collections' or not.

Howdy-Meows, everyone! A lot of us here are collectors, that is a given now ain't it? Well besides MLLP-related things, do you have any other collections? : o

My collections:
- Bottle Caps
- Can Toppers
- Pokémon Cards
- VHS Tap

I mentioned before how I lost the majority of my things and that's just the sad reality of it all, but no way is any of that gonna slow me down baby ;p

What collections I used to have:
- Coloring Books
- MLP Figures (G1, G3, and G4 mainly)
- Bones/Skulls
- LPS
- Candles
- Bar Soap
- Journals
- Silly Bandz
- CDs/DVDs
- Random Scrapbook Stuff
- Pins
- Bouncy Balls/Regular Balls
- Stuffed Animals
- Cameras
- Books
- Art Supplies
- Stickers
- Perfume
- Rocks
- Cups
- Jewelry

Etc, etc. I am trying to re-build everything and more! As you can see, I've just restarted my VHS tape collection. Someone on Craigslist was giving away 17 blank VHS tapes- lucky me! No contact either, he left it on his porch for me to collect. With the VHS, there was a whole slew of empty cards as well.
A truly lucky find
:bunny:

I am so hyped for this dreadful pandemic to be over. I am physically disabled. I have no income either and need to wait to re-apply for SSI. Along with that, I am going to go into Assisted Living. Very helpful indeed but meanwhile I am stuck with my roommate and he can get needlessly aggressive due to stress.
Collecting things brings me so much joy because you can start at any time with anything and distracts me, how about you? What brought you to start collecting? What brought you to continue collecting? It'd be nice seeing your POV, this world can be doom and gloom but always remember light can be seen from every angle, it's about the perspective :thumb: Stay safe, stay healthy, keep that chin up and don't worry about being wealthy. Your well-being is all that matters, show the ones you love how much you care for them because that's the most you can do <3

I can relate to the "some missing ponies"
In different ways we've all had some of those days etc.
Welcome home, as I call it! Or welcome to ponyland.
Do you have any faves? From either of those G's?

Yes! I really like Gem Blossom, Valenshy, and Waterfire.

Fun fact with Waterfire is that I always called her FlamingWater due to not knowing her name

These were my favorite in my collection.

Seeing this forum when I am going through mental struggles right now due to womanhood (if ya know what I mean)
It's really nice having that safe space in your life where you know there's no politics or drama anywhere

Goodwill is closed due to the pandemic, which sucks because I am stuck at home and it'd be nice to see the antiques :read:

The virus is a terrible one for sure. A historic event we are living through.
