When I heard wings, I heard WINGS.

Saja loves peacocks (it's a total secret :P ) and I wanted to do something peacock-y but also something a bit different. She included some images and several were of winged animals, including tigers. Dhaval, the peacock winged tiger, was born. His name is from Sanskrit and means white or dazzling and pure.

Almost a whole pound of Apoxie went into him. I wanted lavash and in-yo-face feathers. Painting was kind of a nightmare, especially on the backs of the wings and when I started the stripes. I waffled about colors for the longest time. Still unsure if I chose the best options. I gave him two extra rows of hair, which was a first for me.

OMG those wings are amazing!! and I totally dig your striping (and we all know I am picky about stripes hehe) FABULOUS job on him :heart:

I am obsessed with the hair on this pony (of all the awesome thing to focus on, haha.) But the colors are perfection.

he is FANTASTIC! He certainly makes a statement just by existing :) and those stripes are fab
and I LOVE the dots on his face
