Pony Corral / Re: How do you organize/store your accessories?
« on: January 09, 2016, 05:12:02 PM »
I keep all of the accessories for each pony in it's own individual bag.  That includes the brush, ribbon, sticker, barrette etc.  Then I take those small bags and put them in a bigger bag with the rest of the accessories for the ponies in that set.  I store them all in plastic totes.  It makes it so easy to quickly see what I need for a particular pony and compare accessories if needed.

Another vote for boil perm.  I've had a lot of success with it and then you won't have the worry about the hair drying out or getting sticky from the product.

A must have!  I had her as a child and remember the excitement of unwrapping her on Christmas morning.  I absolutely love her back card story.  I was lucky enough to buy her MOC a few years ago and every time I see her I get the nostalgia of that morning back for a few moments.  :)

I got a ton of stuff!

From my husband, I got:
Two pairs of tall boots, one brown and one gray that I have been wanting along with three pairs of boot cuffs
Beats headphones
Some under clothes ('nuff said )

From my family:
Earrings and necklace
A super cute rolling storage cart for my craft supplies
A gift card for Pier one
A lighted crystal horse sculpture
Scootaloo Funko pop figure
Rainbow Dash coffeee mug

Then my husband and I braved the weather and the crowds and got some great after Christmas deals at the mall. I stocked up on leggings, hoodies, dresses and so much more!

It was a great holiday spent with family and friends.  I got so spoiled!

My turn to brag!!!

Alas the terrible phone pictures continue but the contents of the pictures are amazing!!!

My partner is the wonderful Icecreamgirl and I could not be happier with the box she sent me!

First up, a beautiful card, yummy chocolate bar and in the beautiful snowman bag (Icecreamgirl did you make this?) my favorite thing ever...G1 brushes!  There were also some chocolate marshmallow snowmen and reindeer but my kids gobbled them up before I opened the first pony!

Ponies!  First up, two more beautiful G4s to add to my brushable collection.  I was especially excited to see Twinkleshine.  I love her simplicity and she has been on my want list for awhile!

I was so excited to unwrap these next beauties.  UK G1s!  This is the year I work on completing my UK collection and these two are a great start!  Look at that amazing pink hair!  Both of these girls are in wonderful condition and I am so excited to add them to my collection!

Usually I save the ponies for last as they are the stars of the box.  That is still true this time but this extra feels so special it deserves to have the top spot.  Ariel is very special to me for many reasons and I was blown away when I unwrapped this.  Paired with the fact that I go bonkers over anything sparkly and glittery and teal is one of my favorite colors, this is hands down one of the most beautiful things I have ever received in a swap box.  It is the one non pony thing that is going into my pony china cabinet.  :)

Icecreamgirl thank you so very much!  I can tell you put thought into everything that went into this box and I thoroughly appreciate it.  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season!

Awww BabySunnybunch I am so happy you like your box!  I had so much fun putting it together for you.  Baby Glider had more flaws than I was expecting when she arrived so I put her in as more of an extra.  I will admit it was so hard putting UK Shady in there.  She is one of the few ponies I don't have and I was tempted to keep her  :P .  In the spirit of giving though, I did add her ;) . Merry Christmas, I hope you enjoy your girls!

I love my Uggs!  I have the Button Bailey style and I wear them every chance I get.  Very warm and comfy.  I second the size on these.  Go a size smaller than normal and they will fit just right.  You won't be sorry you bought them!

Pony Corral / Re: Collections Goals for 2016?
« on: December 05, 2015, 07:15:48 AM »
2016's goal will be the same at 2015.  Buy Baby Sugar Cake which will complete my US G1 collection!  I've had a few opportunities to buy her but her price is so sky high now I'm holding out hope it'll come down over the next 12 months.

Some other goals:
Completely inventory my collection
Complete my MOC TAF's (Only two more to go!)
Buy MOC Galaxy (which will complete the first set of TE's MOC for me!)
Buy Brazilian Milky Way and Bowtie

I'll be happy if I meet even one of these goals.  They are getting pretty lofty!

I have three small children.  I agree that there is nothing in the movie that is too scary to watch.  My youngest is four and he watched it just fine.  What I have a problem with is what some of you have already voiced.  WHY does someone always have to die in Disney films???  I have made the mistake a few times of not doing my research beforehand and dealing with tears in the theatre.  The worst ones so far have been The Princess and the Frog when the firefly dies and Big Hero 6 when the brother AND Big Hero 6 end up dying.  Now, I won't go to any Disney movie without reading the reviews beforehand and preparing my kids for the death.  I don't necessarily think that children need to be sheltered from that stuff (helicopter parenting drives me crazy!) but I think preparing kids for scenes that may be disturbing to help them work through it is just good parenting.  The frustrating part for me is that these are the majority of the choices for kids if we want to take them to the movies.  That may be the real underlying feelings of those who are complaining.  There's no good alternative really.

Congrats!  Nice to see another MOC Gypsy.  She is a hard one to track down.  ;)
