Alpacas

Hi All,
A very good friend of mine is an Alpaca breeder, and she is having a hard time with a Split from her man of many years. I thought as a non pony person, she would like a custom Alpaca instead of pony, and after making her this boy, I decided id make him a mate, and now Im waiting on a baby bait and more Apoxie to make them a baby! This was my first and 2nd attempt at making this sort of thing, so im pretty happy with how well they turned out. I realise that Alpacas have long legs, and skinny necks, plus wool! but this is my interpretation of Alpacaponies! These are Suris ( the dreadlock type) not Huacaya's ( the sheep wool type). Im waiting on making the baby to send them all to my friend as a family! So she hasnt seen them yet!
I did take some WIP pics of the girl, but for some reason my phone camera bit is playing up, so there still on there, just couldnt load onto the puter for today.
Meet Shiloh and Shilah! Hopefully there baby bait will be here soon so they can have one of them too, although alpaca gestation is 11.5 months anyhow, these guys only just met, lol, so im sure theyll have there baby in due time.

I just remember they both had chewed off feet so they were destined to be something new!

"Squee" is probably the only comment I'm capable of right now. They are so adorable, the expressions are perfect. I love the female one especially, that tilt of the head gives her so much expression, the 'alpaca look'. And you did a great job sculpting the texture of their coats. I'm sure your friend will love them.
