This custom took absolutely forever and is my first attempt at technical elements and wings. I wanted to make my fiancee a standing cupid custom for Valentines Day and had a skating ice pony that was perfect in stance, after hacking off her booties and crown I worked on sculpting the unusual twisty midriff and sculpting mane and tail to attempt a more manly approach ;) The wings were my first attempt and secretly pleased with them (as it was difficult to make this pony in secret since I spend all my time with my husband to be :P ) FBR in white with blur airbrushed gradients on points and muzzle. The wings are a blend of blues and silvers which my camera just could not pick up and the mane and tail were dark blues and blacks. The base is made out of a pringle lid! Coated in black paint and flocked with green and the final touch was placing earth magnets in the base and on the pony to make a detachable stance. There is a cupid bow (last pic) which still needs painting silver and has starlight hair as the string.
I hope you like him and think my partner will too (thankfully he has popped out so can get some pictures!)
