Title: MLP 'n Friends On Demand
Post by: tailrustedtealeaf on July 06, 2018, 08:01:35 AM
I'm staying at a rental beach house atm, and I noticed that Kabilliom (kids channel) has MLP n' Friends episodes! The channel is strictly On Demand. I'm not sure if the subscription at the rental house is Comcast, but I think that the channel is on FiOS anyway!
Sorry if this has been stated before, I've been away so I haven't been able to catch up easily.
The episodes I remember watching we're Bright Lights part 1, Glass Princess 2-4, and that one Surprise and Monkeys episode.

According to Wikipedia, they play cartoons of Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake too. Are they also 80’s era cartoons for both things? It’d be cool if that’s the case. It’d be like time traveling!

It might be! I'll have to see if it's on our subscription at home (if we still have on demand). The listing on the tv just said My Little Pony.
Since they don't play the G3 shorts it's likely that they picked those up!

Okay, so I saw that we have the same episodes available on Spectrum. But why only show parts of multi-part episodes? Although I can't really complain since I have the series on DVD, but still.... talk about leaving kids who'd never seen the show with a cliffhanger.

It looks like they post it sequentially, so maybe it's to get the kids to keep watching? No clue if on-demand gives channels revenue from watches.
It all has the original opening and closing, so maybe they didn't feel like editing out the credits and openings each time.  :P

Oh okay, then that makes sense.
