Help here? I had my siggy pic set at 499X199; can someone resize or tell me what to do so it's acceptable with all my other siggy text/link stuff? Don't wanna go over my quota. I never know if photobucket is resizing stuff on me or not when I upload and link from there...

SourdoughStomper has an image resize guide that might be helpful here if you want o use code to resize here on the arena.  Some things auto resize.

I did have it coded with both width and height. Just not sure what part was too big then as I mentioned I had it sized below recommended dimensions... I guess I'll drop it 10 under and see if Bertha attacks again...

The file size (weight) is sitting at 71.92 KB, while the limit is 60 KB.

Ok, I've cut the width down to 400; if I right click I can't get the weight/size/kb's.
Is this ok now?
Sorry, I'm not so savvy on this weight stuff at all... (do I need to re-size the original pic?)

The physical size doesn't affect the image weight. You'll need to open it on your own computer and re-save it - usually in the save options there is something to change the Compression Rate. You should be able to increase the compression rate a bit without loosing too much quality.

I haven't used paint in a while... but if it doesn't work, I'm pretty sure there are some online resizers that you can use. I'd have to google them again...
