Come be excited with me! Share pictures of your first Pullip\BJD\expensive collecter type doll.
(now for the other bit of the subject line)
I know this is sort of a silly thing to post about, but I just wanna share with y'all that I am one fifth of the way to haveing the money saved up for some bjds I want (my firsts) ^^ specifically Luts Annette and Luts Howl http://eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=32 http://eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=42
I am also going to get a wig for him (I already have her wig) as well as wig caps (to reduce\prevent staining) and two sets of eyes in this order. They will be nude for a while, but I am commissioning clothes for them from a friend.
I am just so excited that my saving is progressing so well. I decided I wanted to save up for these about three weeks ago and I am already so far! (my savings plan is $20 a week, plus any and all tips (I am a carhop) )
It just seems so real and so attainable now! Hopfully, if I can keep up this rate (or my customers decide to keep being generous ^w^) I can order these two lovelies by late May\early June

My first expensive doll was a Pullip Souseiseki that I bought with my birthday money from Patron on DollyMarket :B will never forget LOL

I had had for a while, and he did look a lot better in his last year with me
I think I sold him in march of '10 (his character needed to be SD sized, so he became my DIM Achernar, who I sold not too long ago as well

but now he's my leekeworld Lion

My first was my Resinsoul Feng, Fenton. I scrimped and saved for months to get him, mostly by doing ironing for mum!

He's nearly 2 years old now. I still remember how awesome it was to sign for that huge box at the door!

Well, I guess my first expensive doll was my obitsu. It doesn't seem like a lot looking back on it, but it was a lot to me then.

But my first expensive doll, by my views on expensive noooow, would be Florian, my RS Mai.

Good luck with your saving! It really pays off when you finally have the doll you want in your hands!

My first expensive doll was my Angel of Dream Juli!

I was actually saving for a Soom Spinel... well more like heavily debating whether I should or shouldn't. I was at an anime convention and there was a dealer that had AOD dolls who offered layaway and I could take her home! I caved in...

I had brought some pastels and stuff because I wanted to try doing a faceup on my friend's doll for fun. Well... I attempted my first faceup in the hotel room. Poor girl looked HIDEOUS for the rest of the weekend: OMG. D:

After all these years she is still stock, but we started ro "fall out of love".....so I am in the process of a makeover -lol

Yay congratulations! Waiting and saving are EXCEPTIONALLY hard! That's why I usually ask my fellow bjd/pullip collectors to spam the heck out of their own babies so I can ogle & ooh and ahh until my dolls come home! Lol...

My first doll purchase was a Pullip Barasuishou (taken last year)

My first doll was a Spring Term Violet from Rosette Doll. I didn't have to save up too long for her, because I lucked out on having some income right about when I wanted to order. The wait was kinda long, though... 3 months. She was beautiful and absolutely worth it. ♥ I sold her several years ago because she had become more of a display item than a doll I could dress up and enjoy, but I still think she's so lovely.

My first BJD is a pukipuki Madeline who is out for delivery today *does a happy dance* But she's not my first "expensive" doll...

My first was Pullip Nero <3 I sold her last year when I was thinning out the family, but she's a gorgeous girl. Also, she looked nothing like her original self by the time I sold her, lol.

Zoey!!!!!! I was hesitant getting her because "I hate dolls" but they looked so fun! Then she came and I haven't looked back!
