Ray Bradbury, author of such prolific works as Fahrenheit 451, Dandelion Wine and The Martian Chronicles, has died at age 91.

His books and short stories were read and enjoyed by millions.  He remains an inspiration to fiction writers all over the world, and his long career ensures we have many pieces of his literary ingenuity to remember him.

RIP, sir.  Your books and stories are among my eternal favorites.

Oh NO! I loved Fahrenheit 451 so much and I want to read all his books. It's so sad to lose such a good writer, you never know what kind of amazing things were still in his head.

Just last week I had been thinking about revisiting The Martian Chronicles. Will definitely have to do it now!

I loved Golden Apples of the Sun... A Sound of Thunder (and the resulting Simpsons episode).   His stories made me think.
