Pokemon Go -- who wants to be friends?

Turns out my house is a shiny hotspot. Last two community days I e managed to catch 5 shinies while being at home. I like what they’ve dine with remote raids. Now if we can just trade with our friends in other countries.

Right?  I mean, they made it work for the video games so why not on a game that requires the internet to work?  Even if you had to be ultra friends or something first I think they could make it happen.

If you transfer a pokemon to Pokemon Home, don't open the mystery box until you have an hour available to play.  Why?  Because it will attract Meltan for an hour.  Load up on Pinap Berries and Pokeballs, and make sure you have space to catch him!

Yay, new Pokemon! Some Kalos region Pokemon are getting added to the game in December. I'm especially looking forward to Fennekin

How often are you guys playing? What are you up to these days? I'm casually playing a few minutes most days, trying to complete the Victini research task (I'm way behind . . . )

Did anyone manage to get more than one galaran ponyta? I didn’t know it was a limited 2 day thing until after it was over. I only got one I hoard ponytas..

I did, but only two. I think that they can hatch out of 7 km eggs now, though!

I just caught a shiny Groudon!  He's green.

If you're having an issue finding Plusle and Minun for this collection task, apparently you have to spin a pokestop and get "Catch 11 Pokemon" as your research task and then the "prize" is an encounter with one of these.  For me that means driving a couple of miles away in the snow in order to spin.  I hate not being high enough level to request a pokestop where I live.

Oh congrats! And thanks for the advice on the event today. I was trying to find a shiny Mareep but no luck. I missed shiny Mareep and Dratini back when they had their community days and it's been a fruitless search since . . .

I tried to do one of the regional challenges but got salty that the app didn't count the Herdier I evolved from a Lilipup -- that would have completed the challenge and I wanted the rare candy. I think I needed to do a raid, but I didn't have the time to find one. Ah, well. I'll just walk with my ice cream cone for a while and get enough candy to evolve it.

Yeah, I didn't find any shinies yesterday-mostly because I had a limited amount of balls and was trying to finish the challenge before I focused on shinies.  The last Pokemon I caught was a 4-Star Beldum, though, because I was trying to get enough candies to evolve my Metang but I didn't manage to get enough.  So 4-star was a good last hurrah for yesterday.

I had found my Herdier in the wild, it was just more rare then lilipup.

The current challenge where I have to send 5 gifts to friends is hard because so many of my friends never open the gifts.  The last set had send 3 gifts.  I can only imagine if there's another set of challenges after this one how many I'll have to send.
