What would you do if you traded with someone and yours didn't arrive?

I did two swaps on here with USA members, & sent their items at the same time

Both have received their items, and I have received from one member

But The other item is still missing in action

I've no doubt whatsoever the person sent it, but it seems to be lost in the post

What would you do in this situation?

First of all it's the other traders responsibility to chase up the po, do a claim, and show you a receipt.

Ill pop this over to Trader Support for you and you'll get some good advice there

I was in a group swap and my custom got lost on the way to Spain. So I made another custom and sent that one but it never arrived either. I have been comtemplating making a third but if the post is that unreliable I think there comes a point when something else needs to be worked out. I'll be watching this one to see others advice. International shipping from the US costs a fortune and is weakly monitored at best. I am sad for my own postal system.

How long has your parcel been in transit?

And have you been in contact with your trade partner?

Personally, if it has been a while, I would ask to at least see a receipt (if there wasn't tracking that is).

Spain's post is horribly unreliable. In the Breyer/model horse hobby aside from MLPs, many sellers won't even bother to ship to Spain because of this.

This is what I was gonna ask you as well ^^  . International shipping times can be all over the place. If you contact your partner and find out the exact date of shipping (and its not unreasonable to ask to see a pic of the receipt) , it will be easier to see whether there is really something to worry about at this point ;)
Trading is awesome but it can be a toughie to sort out issues with. Many pony peeps here will be willing to work with you, maybe send a replacement box, or give you a refund. But if your trading partner does not respond, goes MIA , or will not work things out with you unfortunately there is not much else that can be done except to leave appropriate feedback. It doesnt sound as if its that serious ATM in your situation though. Has your trading partner got plenty good feedback? :what:

Also, I think some destinations you can track until they leave the border with the US customs form number.  I know mine got routed through Chicago before they were never seen again.  So you might try having the person check to see if they can see if it has left the states yet.  They may be able to tell with just the customs information.  Then it's a matter of arrival and local delivery.
