I am not interested in equestria girls (not the large brushables anyway, I think the minis are adorable!) But in these images it looks like they have given their faces some more detail than the G4 set. I am not sure if they are all using the same face mould, but I hope they are more unique to each character.
I probably won't buy them but i think izzy and zipp look great! 
If this set is made in to EQG minis I will probably wind up buying them though.

I saw these! I think they look a lot better both the G4 styles (the full size fashion dolls I mean, the Minis were a lot better). I'm really excited about the fact that they're articulated.

You know what I've come to realize about the mini ponies? (Besides the fact that they're adorable,  and I NEED some.) Is that they're pretty much just selling us the same toys they've already put out. Sans Spike and Baby Ember.

Possible leaks of G5 EQUESTRIA GIRLS!!! OMG I really hope these are legit, cause I'm in LOVE. I know I'm one of the few (only??) EQG fans on the board but I loved the  dolls (well the original ones at least, hated the reboot) and I missed them... these look SO good! Not too keen on the pony ear headbands but I get why they did that. Articulation looks good too. But omg I'm in loooove... the one with the jeans (Zipp? I think it's Zipp? I'm really bad with the G5 names) is AMAZING, but they all look really cute ;w; Ahhh I need more info!!

I love that first one on skates! They look more articulated, nice!

I'm one of the even weirder pony fans who dislikes FIM with passion but enjoyed EQG, repetitious plotlines and all. I think it was the jem nod of the whole battle of the bands. I still rail against the open admission that the whatever games were a popularity contest, but yeah, EQG is fine with me. Sunset Shimmer <3.

That said...I don't know what I think about these. Sunset Shimmer was the basis of the appeal for me with G4's EQG, the missing piece that made the M6 bearable characters. I'm not totally sold on the new designs, though they are more interesting than the pony toys.

You know, the fact that after however many months Entertainer here has Izzy AS WELL as Sunny shows the amount of progress MLP G5 has made in stores in the UK since inception. Do you know how many MH dolls and RH dolls have been released in that time (even though MH has ONLY JUST returned)?

Remembering G2 had a tepid response and was quickly pulled, but I don't see G5 having a revival in Europe if the US pull the plug. G5 is a dull generation with nothing to recommend it. I think the point made above about G4's perfect storm is also a good one. It happened then because it could only happen then...but now that's over and people have moved on.

All that said, saw this on Amazon this morning and that's the first 'interesting' G5 toy I've seen so far.

I'm confused that Opaline seems to be shown as both a bright, nail-polish pink, and a lovely, plum purple? Is this a color changing gimmick? Thanks for the link Taffeta.

Well, her design does swing towards magenta rather then purple so I can't complain. Although I'll hafta pass on her. I still don't understand why they can't reuse their available moulds to make scores of new ponies. They're such cheapskates.

Hasbro you're making me sick of these guys. You have high quality versions of the vintage art. I've seen it uploaded by you officially. Every other shirt in this section has vintage art on it - the Care Bears one, the Strawberry Shortcake one. What is this? Really? Would it kill you to try to make merch of the other ponies, or at least use the original art? This doesn't even feel vintage or retro in the same way that the other shirts does. L. Ratio. You fell off. Do something else.

I also found another licensed shirt at a store called "Urban Planet" in the mall for $10. It had Windy and Moonstone on it and said "Choose Happy".

I spotted some G5 notebooks today! They are in home bargains in the UK. I have spotted a plastic drink cup with a lid and straw, gel pens with cutie mark rings, and some gift bags with G5 ponies on them too, I will try to take photos of those if anyone would like me to. I was in a rush today so i only snapped these two. The first notebook has a bubble with glitter inside.

Saw moulded singles of Trailblazer,  Sunny, and Moonbow at Walmart, they were in the checkout stand, instead of in the toy section.
