I'd probably pick my childhood favourite, sparkle Baby Gusty.  I got her for Christmas one year, and when she got lost I was DEVASTATED.

I think I always wanted Seashell, so probably her.  But I was aware of Firefly and Medley from the story tapes and wondered why I never found them.  I'd have loved to have had Medley and was so excited when I finally got her recently.  I don't think I had any Pegasus or Unicorn ponies and I'd have also loved to have Honeycomb because my cousin had her.

Would have to be the pink Dream Castle for me!  How I wished I could recreate the movie opening where the drawbridge lowered and all the ponies came running out!

Majesty with the dream castle playset that came with spike. I loved unicorns more when they were associated with dragons and majesty is the best choice because I didn't like the whole shiny sparkly princess thing so the princess ponies with their dragons would have to be excluded.

Well I guess that's if this time machine allows a full playset including it's ponies.

Otherwise nightglider, with a note saying "this will be your favorite one day, treat her well"

I love the note idea!!  Mine would be TAF Yum Yum. . . I distinctly remember wanting her really badly at the store one day. Mom told me I could only pick one pony - it was between Boysenberry Pie (who I still have to this day! heh) and her.. Ughhh.. I kinda wish I picked Yum Yum, but oh well.. the purple unicorn won. LOL  The adult me has her now but it would've been cool to have her as part of my childhood herd.

Ohhh, Bubbles would be another tempting one.  I wanted her (or him, in my mind) sooo badly.  I asked for him for three consecutive Christmases but never got him.

I always wanted Blossom as a kid but never had her. I know she's not rare or exciting or worth a lot of money, but she's still a favorite.

If it has to be pony I guess G2 Hip Holly or Princess Sunsparkle. If either of those had been released in the US I think it would have ignited a childhood interest in MLP.

If it could be anything at all it would be one of those Chap Mei Cutie Princess sets they had at Only a Dollar. I always passed them up to buy some snacks. To say I regret it would be an understatement.
