Tips for displaying playsets??
« on: August 10, 2015, 03:14:04 PM »
I'm absolutely OBSESSED with playsets, and for that reason I simply cannot find it in my heart to put them away in their boxes. But at this point I have a whole bunch of playsets collecting on the ground and I'm quickly running out of floor space. Most of my playsets are too big to fit on my shelves and at this point I have no idea where else to put them. Does anyone have any tips/pictures of their setups to help me? :)

im making a room box to display the kitchen. I basically took foam boards and glued decorative wall paper for the sides and for the floor I used paper printed with tiles.

I have only one playset and it is showed on top of a bookcase, but what comes to my mind is installing some floating shelves wide enough to hold the playsets on the walls. :)

Ooh, those are both super interesting ideas. Floating shelves might be a real option once, I clear off some wall space. Thank you so much. <3

I display all my playsets on bookshelves, it is possible to fit most on with some clever angling and displaying the sets open (although sometimes you have to sacrifice a shelf above due to height). Which sets are you trying to display?
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I display all of my playsets except for Paradise Estates and my show stable which are all put together, but hidden in a closet. So I have G1: Baby Bonnet's School of Dance on my floor. G3: Celebration Castle, Crystal Rainbow Castle, Twinkle Twirl's Dance Studio, Butterfly Island, Rainbow Wishes Amusement Park. G4: Rarity's Carousel, Wedding Castle, Friendship Express, Friendship Rainbow Kingdom, Canterlot Castle and the Playskool playset. So I have a lot to display.  I just really love my playsets, and I like using them as displays.
