Woohoo! Need to celebrate my good news!

So for those of you who know me, will know I'm a toy enthusiast - not only do I collect My Little Pony, but I have a particular interest in Sylvanian Families. I have a fairly large collection, and run my own little nerdy website. Normally the only kinds of e-mails I get are price checks  And so this morning I feared yet another eager seller, looking to know how much their childhood collection was worth, when I was hit by a nice surprise!

My name is [censored name] and I'm currently working on a short documentary about Sylvanian enthusiasts.

I'm planning to show the finished film at a number of festivals, including next years Sheffield Doc fest and IDFA in Amsterdam. The project is my final piece for a part-time documentary course I have been doing, although I do actually work in TV as a Development Creative (the person who comes up with ideas for TV shows).

I'm due to shoot a sequence at the Sylvanian shop in London over the next few weeks and I'm also looking for collectors to interview and show their collections. I'm interested in your blog and how you approach your interest in Sylvania online and would be interested to talk to you about this area.

If you'd be interested in talking part in the film I'd be eager to hear from you. I'd be looking to shoot a short interview and some sequences of your collection etc and chat about your blog. It wouldn't be a big crew of people, just me and my camera.
