Is Mexican Moondancer safe to sun fade?

I'm considering buying a Mexican Moondancer, but she's going to need to be sun faded because she has sharpie on her. Does anyone know if she's the tanning type?

She should be ok to sun fade, just cover everything else up (hair, eyes, symbols etc)

Mexican ponies tend to clean up beautifully
