I'm having a hard time selling some ponies and would like too know are they unreasonably priced or are people just not buying?

$20 - First up nearly perfect Princess Misty

$20 - Alternate Re-hair Pony Bride Baby Blonde with Gold Tinsel   has a very small black smudge or dot on the very tip of the ear.

$8 - Raspberry Jam would be very nice but has a lighter head than the body.

$5 - Baby Glory nice white body, head is slightly lighter than the body under mane, and symbol is re glittered.

These are the only ponies that concern me at the time...
Thank you.  Any insight would be helpful thank you.

PS. Do you need pics?

IMO these are great prices! Ebay right now is insane, I think you just have to be patient or do some more advertising.

i would say $30 for a near perfect Misty and $20 for Raspberry Jam. Maybe $15 if her head/body mismatch is super noticeable. you can always lower prices but you it's harder to raise them once you have a listing up.

Beth3346 thank you Here are some Pics So you can see there symbols. the Symbols have a little rubbing but she is still really Impressive. Is she still worth $30

Raspberry Jam Does have a Noticeable Discoloration between her body & head. maybe I should lower her price to bait? But her symbole is fantastic!

Beth I posted some pics of Princess Misty and Raspberry Jam today...
anyways is Raspberry Jam Still worth $8 in your opinion or is she $5

With Princess Misty
I had no Idea she could go up so high... She does have some rubbing on her iridescent colored symbols so its more purple on one side and a little rubbed on the other. See Images to help... She has natural curls and she has beautiful blush and eyes symbols Great overall just the iridescent coloring is coming off.

& While we are at it what is the P.C for Up, Up and Away with re-Rooted hair
here are some pics of her...

Thank you for your insight I Really needed that!
I Do Instagram but I though you have to open a store on Instagram in order to sell so what I did was advertise my website pics on there and have my Website available on my Bio of Instagram...
but I didn't think of Facebook until now! Maybe that would be a good Place to start advertising?! Thanks again!

Beth I never thanked you for the Price Check Could you PC Up, Up and Away for me Too?

i'm sorry i'm responding so late

Misty looks really good. if it were me i would still start at $30. even the most well preserved princess ponies never seem to have all of the iridescence on their gems.

for Raspberry Jam. she does look pretty faded to me. i still think $8 is low by today's prices. I would still start at $15.

i don't have experience pricing rehaired ponies so i'll leave that to someone else. Up Up and Away looks really pretty though.

The value of rerooted ponies is extremely subjective, anyway. You're better off trying to find a specific buyer and agreeing a price with them directly, rather than trying to apply a general value.

Some people would rather have a good reroot than a pony with a haircut, and will pay additional for that work.
Some people consider rerooting to devalue the pony, and that removing what is left of the original hair is destructive rather than reconstructive.
Many people have nuanced views between these two extremes. It makes it hard to fix on a 'value'.

I would say that if it's an actual original colour reroot, it's a good idea to mark the hooves or some other kind of indication so that it can't be mistaken for original hair down the line. The length of the forelock makes it clear that it is a reroot, but it's still a good quality reproduction - and we've had incidents where reroots have mistakenly ended up changing hands without the buyer realising.

Beth - Thank you letting me know how much I should sell her for. I might have to state on my post, that, "I had no Idea Princess Misty was a more expensive pony than what I was selling her for and that is the reason why the price jumped up"... something like that.... Same with Raspberry Jam...

Taffeta - Thank you for letting me know.... I had no Idea...

as for re-rooting ponies, in my opinion I don't think it makes the pony go up but stays the same... I have an Up Up and Away and I used her to get the measurements
I don't know why in the pic her bangs look awkwardly long  :lookround: Like the pick didn't do her justice at all... But she is a Beautiful pony... her bangs are standard cut 2 Inches and 1/4 same as the one I have... Her Mane is 3 inches & 3/4 & her tail is 6 inches... This is why I wanted to do a MLP Hair Length Guide... for everyone too have who Re-root hair.... but I haven't had time to work on it...

Edit I should Probbalby Curl her hair more....
so I dipped her in to warm water and wrapped her in paper towel... tomorrow I will reveal her... maybe she wont look too long in the bangs....

The more you make a reroot look like the original, the more the possibility it can be mistaken for one, and that has positives and negatives. Like I said, it's a proper minefield. I think you probably just need to put the ponies out there and be patient, so you find the right buyer for the reroots who will give you the value you are happy with.

I'm not really the right person to comment on this pricewise as I don't do reroots - to me it's customisation not restoration - but I do feel like there are plenty of collectors out there who will give you a fair price for the work done, if you look for them.

Thank you Taffeta Sorry it took so long to get back to you...
I did curl her hair and now i Realize she is in a lot better condition than the Up up away that I own.. so I'm going to keep her and sell the other Up Up and Away.... I'll post her for $18 she has a small trim in the bangs and still has pink hair but is fading to white. I used my munchy to get the length of the bangs so I should of said earlier...
Thanks everyone for your help!
