Yeah, when I went to go check on the costumes under the 'weekly contests' icon, it said 'check back to this space later for a new event!'

I'm sad that you had to craft costumes to win these ponies, but at least they were cute costumes? I only managed to finish Sweetie Belle and Pinkie's costumes, and they look pretty cute, trotting around Sweet Apple Acres.

... WHOOPS, you're right! I thought this was the Gameloft thread for the MLP app!! That's what I get for not double checking! (They had a Halloween event too, which ALSO just ended!)

What's funny is, I just came back to this thread to see if anyone had figured out if the double-candy event was over, LOL!! Fail!!

If I wasn't out of pokeballs, I'd go check right now... Man, don't I feel silly!

LOL Don't feel too bad. That's an easy mistake to make. As of an hour ago I was still getting double candies.

I think they'll have to push out an update before we stop seeing extra candies and spooky Pokemon roaming around. Maybe it'll happen today.

I'm really not going to complain about the double candy, though. More reasons to catch everything for evolution fodder!

No complaints here either. I'd like to get my Blastoise today.

I'm not complaining either. I just hatched a 10km egg. Got my second Omanyte and it gave me enough candies to evolve one!

Nice! The last 10K egg I hatched turned out to be an Eevee. I still think Eevee shouldn't be included in 10K eggs. I don't know anyone who gets excited over hatching one. All that walking, too...

I'm not getting the double candies now. But my buddy, Charmander, still says I'll earn candy after walking 0.75 km instead of 3 km.

Now that's it's over, how has the Halloween event been for everyone? I did get a few lucky hatches: Charmander, Exeggcute, Sandshrew, and right before the event ended, Abra. I'll miss the double candies, but it is so nice to see a variety of Pokemon again. And crazy enough, Drowzee isn't everywhere (yet, anyway), either!

Yesterday, I trekked down to the harbourfront and it was crazy. So many players there! Whenever a good Pokemon popped up you can see the mass huddle of people walking towards it.  I also got to talk to a lot of people so it was a lot of fun. Though I did have a Dragonair run away (if I had caught it, I would have been one candy away from finishing my Dratini line). Oh well, I only need 9 more Dratini catches and they are decently common at the harbourfront. I did get more than enough candies to finally evolve a Gyarados though.
