I am kinda the same way. I preordered Shulk, and plan on preordering Lucario and Rosalina, but unless they make one of Mewtwo, I likely wont buy anymore after that. Nintendo really messed things up by "discontinueing" Marth/Villager/WFTrainer.

Nintendo had also said they "may bring back/rerelease some/certain amiiibos in the future", or something like that.
But still, it is a stupid situation. Those three dissapear not even two weeks after launch day. And I think the same is happening to a few of the amiibos in this current wave.

Marth is one of the ones I'm on the fence about, and I don't want to have to feel like I have to buy him if I see him because I won't get another chance.

I hope they don't go the route of cards. The reason I'm fond of the Amiibo line is because they are releasing figures for characters who would have nothing 'collectible' made for them other wise, more than likely. Plus, since my Pokemon days, I have more than enough trading cards to last for awhile lol

With the popularity of Skylanders and Disney Infinity, I think it could possibly last a while, but they need to get more games out there that can use the amiibos or at least release an Amiibo specific game. It looks like the only game that can use all the figures is Smash Bros., but not everyone wants that game so they're going to have to get more games to use these figures. Like Mario Kart seems to only be able to use the Mario characters and the new Kirby game can only use Kirby characters. We shall see how it goes. I want it to be successful because the figurines are so cute!
I also hope that they'll end up being successful. As I've said before, I mostly like them just to have as figures, but I've finally gotten the hang of how they work with Smash Bros and I look forward to using Kirby in the new Kirby game and Yoshi in the new Yoshi game when those come out.

IIRC with Skylanders, their store-exclusives were variant/colors of regular characters. Like (random example) a Dark/Black Spyro figure compared to his regular purple/normal version. Well Activision did the same with Skylanders, they had Target and Toys r Us exclusives, that doesn't bother me too much, its how few of them there are that grinds my gears and how uneven so-called *less popular characters* tend to be. Samus, Kirby, Link and Yoshi are everywhere. Where's DK and Diddy? Where's Pit, Little Mac and Villager? I haven't even seen Luigi and its not as if they're from super obscure games.

Most of the people that I know import rare Amiibos do it from Japan actually. They don't have any issues shipping to the US.

I think what is also annoying (speaking of Target saying that they wont be replenishing Rosalina) is that Amiibo's only come four to a box when they are shipped. So apparently when a lot of stores get what they call a shipment, they will sometimes only have four figures (some of the mains like Mario they may get multiple boxes of, where others like Lucario if they only get one box that means they only have four figures to replenish stock with).
As of right now the wave 4 haven't gone up for pre-order in the US yet. But you can order the Super Mario Brothers set (which has Toad) from Gamestop.
I love Nintendo, but unless they get their act together I hope they never do anything like this again, cuz they royally suck at it
Oh I know what you mean. Part of me does think they are doing an artificial demand thing for the amiibo. Skylanders did it when they first came out (that "drought" they had for a long time). It is a smart business idea!

I'm not sure that Nintendo has really dropped the ball (I mean, they have, but I think at this point it is also intentional). I was speaking with some people at toys r us the other weekend about it and one said that Nintendo was being crazy, they could make so much more money if they made these things widespread like Skylanders, but my response was that they are being brilliant. If they were everywhere, easy to get, people would not be scrambling for them like they are (I mean, there was a group of us hanging around a toy store for an hour before they opened in the freezing cold just for a CHANCE to pick up an amiibo lol). They've created the artificial demand for their product by not having the supply to meet it, and being cryptic about any information regarding them. Just my opinion though :)

Oh great, my hubster is now wanting to collect these! He has known about them since their release, but just NOW found out they are 3DS compatable and with other games besides SSB. On top of that, Sonic the Hedgehog is his favorite thing ever and he foundot about it *after* he went to Best Buy yesterday for some game shopping. He said he is mad because he would have looked for Sonic and Mega Man for me. So now... guess what HE wants to do!? Today we are going to a huge shopping center with Gamestops, two Targets, and Walmart, a Best Buy, and a Toys R Us. Yes, you heard mecorrect Cole want to go to Toys R Us for once in his life!!!! He swore up and down after how many times last year from pony shopping he was 100% done with Toys R Us.This is sooo exciting he is into something I really really like right now! I feel the SAME way about Pit!!! I really like him, but I totally missed his release and im kicking myself over it!!!! I thought all the new ones were to be released this month, not sooner back in Decemberish X_x I remember when amiibos first came out I looked everywhere for the Villager since Im an AC addict.... er fan. I also have a love/hate with Nintendo.... I wish their releases were more like Infinity: exclusive the first 6 months then a wide-rerelease at most retailers.

For anyone looking for Shulk amiibo : I just read on reddit that GameStops are now accepting pre-orders for Shulk again since most stores that have him currently only have enough for pre-orders.
It's an web-in-store pre-order, so you have to go to the store in person to do it, only one Shulk per person, you have to pay it in full, and the estimated date is May 1st. I guess they are doing it like this to prevent scalpers.
It just happened not too long ago (within the last hour or so maybe?), so if your store employee/manager doesn't know what your talking about, they may need to check their email.
Has anyone else heard about the Rosalina guy? He purchased over 100 of her Amiibo - Just because he hates the character and her fans, and doesn't want them to get one/be happy. What the? :/

Best Buy is so non-prepared for tomorrow. I called to see if my local store would have any non-preoders to sell tomorrow and if they had a game plan in case there was a mass rush..... yeah. The lady said she couldn't tell me how many they had because 'they themselves don't know' but that if I 'show up around opening, there shouldn't be any problem finding one'...... Oh lady, if you only knew.Yeah I think most stores other than GameStop or TRU are underestimating the amiibo demand. xD I was at my Best Buy a few days ago and they seemed pretty chill in a " Oh I dont think that many people will show up for the amiibos" way. It's like they don,t realize they have an exclusive amiibo in their store. ^^; My store had mentioned that they had about five of all the new ones, and I have a feeling that there will be people waiting outside the door started at 7am, if not earlier (happened last Friday at TRU).
I had decided to not camp out and to let it go tomorrow, but where I did originally have tomorrow off now I have to go in to work at 10:30, and I work about five minutes away from Best Buy. So, I figure I might as well swing by early and see whats happening. It is FRIGID where I am though, and I refuse to risk my personal health for a piece of $13 plastic so if there is a line, or people start forming a line even half an hour before opening, I'm out lol. If I can stay in my car until ten minutes before opening thats one thing lol.

It's really dumb that they're releasing a second wave of Mario characters in *gasp* different poses! The Mario characters are all shelf-warmers! :mad: And I get it, they're doing new Amiibos for the Mario Party game, but seriously...can we maybe get more stock of other characters before we go rereleasing characters that you can already find easily?Agreed, especially where Mario is concerned. My experience with Best Buy and it's Meta Knight exclusive have me hoping you guys never ever get another exclusive amiibo.
Yesterday I attempted to call 4 different stores in an attempt to find out if any of them would have extra, non preordered, ones available today. Of those 4, 2 never even answered, simply leaving me on hold for hanging up on me after 10 minutes.
I decided to take a chance with the two that I did hear from though. So I wake up at 6am so that I can leave by 6:30 to go try and get a Meta Knight.
Arrive at Best Buy in Edwardsville at 7 am. I set my butt down on the cold ground and huddle up under a blanket and proceed to wait (willing to wait 3 hours for this stupid toy). The people there were champs. I had 3 different people check on me (or more so: check why some crazy hobo was sitting in front of their store in the bitter cold). And at one point the manager even propped open the door and told me I could come in and sit inside. So I thanked him and moved inside. He asks what I was there for, disappears, and a minute or two later reappears saying their store only has enough to fill preorders and no extras. He was super apologetic and kind. I thanked him and left A++ Edwardsville Best Buy.
I proceed to the Best Buy in Bridgeton. I get there at 8:30am and because of the parking lot setup am able to sit in my car watching the door. I finally get nervous around 9am and go stand at the door, immediately followed by 3 more people. In the end I think we had between 10 and 12 people standing there by opening at 10am. Not once did anyone in that Best Buy acknowledge us. No information. No ticket system. So despite the fact that I was first in line TWICE today, I did not get the stupid toy I was after because people behind me rushed over and grabbed the total of 3 that the store had. I've heard that the stores have been flooded with requests and inquires, so it's not a surprise that there were going to be a lot of people for a crazy limited quantity. If you saw that many people outside and knew you only had a couple items maybe you should have ticketed the item. You guys practically INVENTED the Black Friday ticketing procedure.
The whole event has soured and wasted my day.
All I have to say is that Best Buy better have more Meta Knights up for online ordering or future shipments otherwise I'm marking off my list of places to shop for video gaming supplies.

Suuuuure wish that games/game consoles weren't region locked... :rolleyes: Anyway, Amazon also has some Japanese Amiibos available for 2x the price they are here, which isn't too bad I guess.That's how I got my JPN Lucario amiibo - figured the $30 I paid for him on Amazon would be the equivalent of me driving around trying to find him. (Of course, he was already shipped to me when I found a US Lucario at my TRU, so curse my luck on that xD). I want Pac-man from wave 4 and while I don't believe he'll be super popular, you can't go off of that with these things. I thought I was the only person in the world who wanted Wii Fit Trainer (I use her a ton in SSB), so when I picked one up, I had no idea she'd end up as one of the rare ones.
There aren't too many more Amiibos I want after this... going off of characters I use in SSB, Duck Hunt, Zero Suit Samus and Greninja are all that's left. I also still need Villager, I really wish I had grabbed one when I saw a bunch at TRU a few months back.

I totally agree, Sora. I thought for sure that, by now, Nintendo would have their act together. I've been hearing rumors though that the port strikes in CA may have affected stock. The only reason I think that's a bunch of BS is because it doesn't make sense for us to get some of the Amiibos and not all of them. If the strikes truly affected them, wouldn't there have been a hold on all of the Amiibos? I dunno, I think that's just people trying to make excuses for Nintendo's laziness.

I think that its a safe bet we can add Ike and King Dedede to that list, since when they released people were reporting stores getting 0-2 of each, and I have yet to see any in the wild.

Finally manage to get Sonic!
I was heading to the grocery store and decided to peek in at the Gamestop next door. After asking if they had Sonic, he said they didnt but they did have Megaman. Saw him on the shelf and I decided to get one. While I was at the checkout counter, the guy had remembered something and went to the back of the store, coming out with a Sonic. He had mentioned it was a preorder Sonic, but the guy never came to pick it up after they had left him a message reminder.
I think I read on reddit that MetaKnight should be coming back to Best Buy in a few weeks.
I'm actually really tempted to try and get gold Mario to use for trading. I feel like that's my only chance at maybe getting Meta Knight. :lol: Seriously though, with a new Kirby game having been released, you'd think they wouldn't make a Kirby character exclusive to just one store. Honestly, having any character exclusive to anywhere is pretty stupid EXCEPT gold Mario. As far as Ness is concerned, it isn't just rumor. People were already going crazy over him BEFORE they announced him, and the non-USA preorders of him sold out in minutes I think it was (him and the two Fire Emblem characters). Yes, Plessie anything would be amazing!! I really hope you can race as Plessie in MK8, if that leak was true. So I can pretend it's a "special/shiny Lapras" and I can hum the Pokemon song, Riding on Lapras. xDI hope so but they seem to be phasing Birdo out she wasn't in the last Mario kart or Mario Party game :wail:

The only dtore in my area that had them had 12, and the cashier didnt limit them 1 per customer! :cry: I was in line and everyone in front bought as many as they could.......sorry to hear that they did the same thing when my friend went to get Rosalina.
Haha, thanks. I was trying so hard to talk myself out of this sale, but with the price inflation, TRU will probably never have a 3 for $30 again. Even if s/he's my favourite Nintendo character, Robin (and Amiibo in general) isn't worth $16, so it had to be now.
A KH line would be really cool. I would still like to see a Mother line but I know we won't get anything more than Ness.
So, in five days, I have seven Amiibo...not permanently though.
The customer service rep at TRU absolutely refused to do a one for one exchange. She said I could only return my one Amiibo for the price I paid, and then re-buy Yoshi for the full retail price....Yeah, I've never worked retail, but I'm pretty sure that's not how an exchange should work. :blink: She was completely oblivious that the 3 for $30 deal was even on when the flier advertising it was right in front of her, so I have my doubts about her ideas on TRU's exchange policy (especially when the electronics employee said I should be able to swap the new Amiibo I bought no problem).
That's where the new Amiibo come in. That was the only TRU in my area that had SSB Yoshi, so I wanted to buy one and take it to another TRU and try my luck there. If they say no too, I'll at least have Yoshi for $10, and can return my five extras.
I feel like I'm catching up with all this Amiibo hunting drama/hassle. Nintendo genuinely has us wrapped around their finger tips, don't they? :help:
Kitkumi- Haha, I think that's the biggest trap. Initially, I wanted Robin and Lucina, but then I wanted Ike, and if I had those three it would be wrong to not have Marth...am I relieved I decided to just stick to Robin (albeit I do want two to turn one into female Robin). Hopefully the States doesn't raise Amiibo prices on you before you can get Ganon.

Wave 4 (plus Splatoon boy and Girl) will be available for pre-order at GameStop tomorrow, via web-in-store and online. I believe the time is at 3pm EST/ 12pm PST. Also, Ness will be (apparently) GameStop exclusive.

I too believe that it is intentional. In my personal opinion, Nintendo doesn't care WHO buys them, as long as they sell (I think that the company is struggling more now than it ever has, and it stumbled in to an unbelievable, and accidental gold mine). I think its why North America was the last to get pre-orders and why there was absolutely no information about it; it whipped the people in to an absolute frenzy. This was the worst wave yet, with pre-orders across the board selling out in minutes. Even if scalpers make up the majority of the buyers, that is still money in Nintendo's pockets and numbers that they can throw out to the press. What happens to the amiibo after they sell it isn't there problem. It is also meaning people are going in to stores more frequently looking for these things, and are more likely to make a random purchase just because they are there and likely disappointed (I've seen it a couple of times now where people have gone in wanting a pre-order or an exclusive and have bought a random one off the shelf just because). If Nintendo does anything to make it look like more are coming, or that everyone who wants one can get one, that frenzy begins to eventually die down, and they will ultimately start moving less product. I think that in some way Nintendo is DEPENDING on the scalpers.
Likewise, I think that they are dangerously close to tipping too far the other way, irritating their fans to the point where they will begin to lose support and customer's trust in the company.

That is the sweetest thing ever! I don't blame you for being so upset over it. I was crushed when I waited in line for Target for 2 hours on a Friday (late for work), and they didn't even have Dedede that day.
Yeah I personally think Nintendo is doing this on purpose but its a pain.
I collect Amiibos for Gameplay. All of mine have been opened and activated in Smash Brothers or Mario Cart (I love the costumes). So its frustrating for me that I can't find characters I actually want to use.
I've already preordered Yoshi's Wooly World and want to use those Amiibo so bad, but I'm getting ready for disappointment already.

May just be Canada then? I haven't seen Kirby for sale online at all and most stores around me don't have him. I know others on the Canadian Amiibo reddit have been struggling to find him too. *shrugs*
I got my call today, but I was at work so didn't get to talk them. Their grand idea of compensation is giving 20% off an Amiibo until Apr 27....not only does that mean it can't be used towards another preorder, but they aren't even covering what I put down in the first place (let alone the bus fair it's going to take to get there). Needless to say I'm going to ask for a number where I can complain to someone that isn't an employee with no control over the situation. Otherwise, I'm done. I'll take my Amiibo money and treat myself to something else.

True. I don't feel bad buying up Kirby since he's all over the place. Also, Kirby is a pretty easy base to work with. I'm not good with tiny details, so when I see a custom Bowser, for exampled, I'm completely wowed.
Right now I'm working on a Hypernova Kirby from Return to Dreamland but it's a pain! There are so many colors and I think I failed once. Gonna try again on another Kirby and hope it turns out better.

If you take 3, that's 2 families/collectors that don't get one at all. Why on earth do you think you need/deserve three when the rule is one per person? If everybody went in and ordered one for each of their kids and themselves, there'd be no point to the rule at all.

Kids don't know the difference between rare/not rare, just the characters they like and having one to share among them should be more than enough. A few thoughts to my reply -
A.) I have four boys (and a 5th on the way) - and so doubles and even triples are necessary in our house.
B.) My school-aged boys will be in school and as I am not going to pull them out of school to purchase them, I see no reason why my younger child can't purchase it for his brother in his place.
C.) It's not my fault Nintendo is making this ridiculously hard to get ahold of. It's supply and demand...the new Beanie Babies perhaps? I'm not going out to be a scalper - I'm trying to get these for my kids.
I'm just curious why wave 4 has much shorter availability than 3 with the port strike or any production delays supposedly being over.

Pac-Man comes out this Friday (May 29th) so you only missed the pre-order window for him. Everyone is expecting him to be common, since he was always the last to sell out during pre-orders lol.
And I agree with you about Nintendo's handling of it. Especially because this wave has come with a number of notices that, once a number of stores sell out, they are not getting any replenishment stock. Its like.... wait.... what? O.o I thought the Amiibo thing would get better, not worse DX
Even though I don't feel like actively looking for Amiibos anymore, there are still a handful I'd like to have. So far I don't care about wave 5, at least. I'd eventually like the Duck Hunt Dog and Zero Suit Samus once they come out since I use them a lot in Smash Bros., and my original plan for the Amiibos was to get any character that I use in Smash and other games. :rolleyes:
Hopefully Pac-man is common. I'd like to be able to just pick him up whenever with no worries.

I just got back from Walmart. They unfortunately only had Charizard, but still that's one less that I have to try and get tomorrow.Most Targets had low amiibo stock this morning. When I went to mine to buy Splatoon I asked the eletronics manager/staff there about how the morning was. He said there was 30+ people waiting when the doors opened. So basically everything was gone within ten minutes, save for a PacMan an employee found, two Inkling Girls, and the Inkling Boy.

Yeah, in my opinion Best Buy has been the absolute WORST about their exclusives. T_T The only reason I was able to get a Meta Knight for my boyfriend is because I was able to trade an extra Rosalina for it but that even took a lot of jumping through hoops and offering to pay both sides of our shipping. And of course that was after spending hours in the snow sitting outside Best Buy on release day just to be told they didn't have any. Ughhh.
Like I said, they are apparently rereleasing it but it's pretty hit and miss where. So far no have restocked anywhere near me. (I've been keeping an eye on it since I have a few friends that would like him)

So he's not actually using them, just collecting them, in-box, I assume? Because outside of that, it doesn't matter if it's Japanese or English. I've seen plenty of Japanese Villager's going for decent prices on eBay (I'm tempted to get one myself).
Japan got Dark Pit and Palutena both of whom have already hit ebay and I'm debating on whether I should import or take my pitiful chances waiting for them to hit the US and probably get screwed outta pre-orders? I'm honestly only excited about the Animal Crossing Games, but I will be BEYOND depressed if I am not able to buy the amiibos I need to play the Amiibo Festival or the happy home academy.
I'm only excited for the Yoshi game, but that was announced at last year's E3 so it's nothing new. I do like that Yoshi can take on the various outfits and skins if you use other Amiibos though, that's neat.
Really hoping the yarn Yoshi Amiibos aren't hard to find. :(

The Animal Crossing Amiibos are cute, but I don't play the game at all. I was actually hoping for a Wii U AC game so I could get into it, but oh well... I feel like it's too late for me to get AC:NL. :lol:

That's good to hear! I'm so upset that we have to wait so long to be able to play the game and get the Amiibos. It doesn't even make sense that we have to wait until October... or November, I can't remember. :cloud:
Couple of pieces of news for US amiibo collectors thanks to the amiibo reddit:
Dark Pit is officially a Best Buy exclusive. He won't be available for preorder, only in store. He releases July 31st (which probably means all of the 5A amiibo will release that day?)
Also, Target is apparently having a Rosalina restock!!! I don't know if it'll be online or in store but someone that works at Target has stated that 30,000 have been ordered/sent to their distribution centers.
Targets website has amiibos popping up all day.
It took a ton of tries but I was able to snag the target exclusives and randomly a marth.

Yeah, I believe Kirby is officially a rare one! I grabbed an extra one for eventual customization purposes (this makes like... 4 now?) a few weeks ago, haven't seen him again since. SSB Yoshi is also pretty hard to find anymore.
Silver Mario is the only Mario I own. It's a nice one to have!
I guess in some places he is, but here he's usually about as rare as Mario and Peach. ^.^Oh. Yeah, I never see him anymore. Just the usual abundance of Mario characters, both versions.

I got a Jigglypuff from the Target restock :frolic: It arrived in the mail yesterday. I am SO happy.
Also, I snagged Wario today from Gamestop, if anyone needs him/wants to trade. (I picked him up for myself having forgotten I already had one ^^;; He is the one amiibo that keeps slipping my mind). If no one needs him I'll be returning him when I'm next over at the store.
Pre-ordered the Retro 3 Pack. I was shocked to hear that they had some left, as late as we came in and shocked to hear there weren't a lot of people who came in for it. We paid it in full, I'm splitting it with my daughter since she doesn't have many and missed out on Splatoon. She gets Mr. Game n Watch and R.O.B and I get Duck Hunt.yeah they really stocked up on preorders for the Retro 3-pack. Some stores that anywhere from 50 to over 100 available preorders. A lot of people were turned off because its the ONLY way to get those three characters in the U.S. and since a lot of people only wanted one of them, they didn't bother.
How about that? A new wave coming in and its as easy as walking into the store and buying it as it should be.
Hopefully Gamestop will pull through and we get our pre-order on time.

Tbh I really don't understand the point of them. Like in Skylanders and Disney Infinity you need the figures to have the character in your game but Nintendo games already come with the characters in the game? Does getting the amiibo allow you to get unlockable characters without needing to earn them? And what about characters who are available from the start?
Back when they first came out, it was nearly impossible to find Skylanders figures in store shelves for the longest.

On a more positive note, even though I use Duck Hunt in Smash, I don't use it as much as other characters, so this isn't a must have for me. So I won't be hurt if I don't buy it at all. Just more money to put towards those yarn Yoshi's!

For those of you looking for non-exclusives, try asking your local gamestop/eb games to look around other stores. Its right on the computer. Its seriously the easiest thing to do. You can search 100 miles around a zip code. If they won't or its inconclusive, message me. I can try to help you.

I don't know how many of you follow the Amiibo Reddit boards, but it seems like places have gotten a TON of each character for restocks.
Could this mean the end of Nintendo being dumb and only giving NA like...20 of each character? :lol:
Still kinda mad that Villager won't be rereleased after after the next Animal Crossing game. He's the only one I wanted from these restocks.

I waited at Target for it to open today and was first in a line of 4 :lol: to get my game and Yoshi's! They only had the green Yoshi in the bundle, so I bought him and the two others separate. I'm so glad it wasn't a hassle!!

Does anyone else have Yoshi's Woolly World? My husband and I started playing it today and decided to scan in all of our Amiibos. I guess none of the Pokemon ones will work (Greninja didn't) but the others did and oooohhh my gosh Duck Hunt Yoshi and Dedede Yoshi are the best! I used Meta Knight Yoshi most of the time, though.
The game is also extremely cute, challenging, and fun. I highly recommend it! :satisfied:
I feel like I'm derailing the thread by asking this, but for those of you playing, would you compare Wooly World closer to a Yoshi game (specifically Yoshi's Story) or Kirby's Epic Yarn? I have to wait until next September to play it for myself so I don't want to spoil too much of the game to find out.
I want to see the Wooly Yoshi amiibo in person like crazy because of how cute they look, but the only store that carries Amiibo here...has five SSB Marios and that's it. The one copy of Wooly World they have for sale is just the game without the Amiibo so I'm out of luck until I journey to arealcity (and if you can find any on shelves by then, I hear the Amiibo situation has gotten better overall but I don't have access to any stores that carry them to see for myself, figures :P).

My husband convinced me to go to TRU with him at around 10:30am because he had a good feeling that the one near us would still have Mega Yarn Yoshi.
They had 3 left! I'm so happy I got one, he's adorable. :accomplished: There's a 20% off any regular priced item coupon someone posted on Reddit (if you can't find it and want it, PM me!) and we had $10 in rewards, so I got him for $23 instead of $40!

Wolf Link looks really cool, but I've never played Twilight Princess, so... I may just get the bundle so I can actually play the game. We'll see. It won't be out for several months, so I still have time to decide.

I would like to get gold Mega Man, but my husband is very adamant about not getting another Mega Man collection of games when he already has other collections of Mega Man games.

OH! And I found it funny that in Mario Maker, Mega Yarn Yoshi is different from regular green yarn Yoshi, which is different from regular Yoshi. :lol: We assumed they were all going to do the same thing (like in Woolly World). We had a ton of fun scanning in all of our Amiibos for Mario Maker, and now I'm afraid I'll never be able to play the Wii U again because my husband is obsessed with making impossible stages that I refuse to play. :lmao:

I found a solution to my Amiibo organization problem! We went to Bed Bath & Beyond to finally use some of the gift cards we got at our wedding, and I found some cheap shelf risers. I wish they had them in black as well as white, but I bought two (one for some figures in my pony room and one for the living room) and they were $5.99 each. They had slightly longer ones for, I think, $9. Anyway, they're perfect! They have them on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Copco-2555-0189-Non-Skid-Cabinet-Organizer/dp/B0036OQU4C/ref=pd_bxgy_201_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=08NZZ0SMBP1DXBZYQ9WZ) too, if you don't have a BB&B near you.

So, I bought the Super Mario Maker Wii U bundle which comes with Modern 8 bit Mario. I'm curious to know his rarity and sought after value (in the U.S.). He looks nice, but I don't collect Amiibos, so I might consider selling him if I can get a good price for him. If not, I'll just keep him and use him. All I know is that he's exclusive to Wal-Mart.
I found Rosalina in store today at Target!! :) I never thought I'd see her in a store but there she was with all of the over Amiibos. I thought Rosalina wasn't going to be restocked in the stores.

I just got SSB for 3ds for my husband and I, and he is having fun actually using the Amiibos! My 3ds is the older one so I don't have the built-in thingy to play with them on mine. (Weren't they going to make something for that similar to a skylander portal?) As I keep playing Smash Bros, I'm falling in love with so many new characters and some of the old characters have change a little!
Mine are displayed on my TV in front of my PlayStation 4 and Wii, nothing too awesome. I thought about getting one of those metal floral candle holders that hold like 20 tealight candles, just put the Amiibos in the holes xD

So now that Nintendo is getting their stock nice n stable, do you think they'll start making dedicated amiibo games soon? Other then AC Amiibo Festival I mean.
I would love it if Nintendo re-issued King Dedede (and Meta Knight since other are missing him). He is one of the few I'm missing. I could import but Marth and Villager taught me patience pays off.
I hope they reissue them too for those that are still looking for them. What is a good way to store your Amiibos that you use in games so they don't get dust in them?

I snagged a Shovel Knight on the day that he was released. I managed to find two of him at Toys R Us and I'm so glad I grabbed him, because I haven't seen him since.
My friend got me a Japanese Famicom R.O.B. for Christmas, so I guess I don't have to worry about that now. :lol:
A separate release of Wolf Link would be amazing! I'm still not totally sold on getting the bundle with the game, but it's one of the few Zelda games I haven't played so... I dunno!

Yes! I was so happy! I checked Reddit that morning and was like "Crap! I forgot Shovel Knight was being released today." but I didn't have the car, so I had to wait until my husband got home from work. By then I assumed I wouldn't find any Shovel Knights. We stopped at TRU first and there he was! Also, it's weird, but you can scan Shovel Knight without taking him out of the package. :lol: For MIB collectors, I'm guessing that's pretty awesome.

They just announced a new Kirby Amiibo line so as long as you didn't want that specific Kirby, you're in luck. I think the new one is cuter with him riding on the Warp Star. I adore the WaddleDee amiibo, so cute! I'm excited for the new Kirby game in general since it's the style of games I like (where Kirby has his trademark copy ability).

I would highly, highly recommend the Paper Mario series! :) The first two will always be my favourites, but if you don't care for RPGs, Super Paper Mario is a platformer (with RPG elements) and has an AMAZING story for a Mario game. I'm not a big fan of Sticker Star, but it does have a unique game mechanic to it at least...
I was really excited for a new Paper Mario, but it looks like Sticker Star 2.0 right now and that ruined my excitement. I'll just patiently wait until we see more of the game to see if I'm interested or not.
Is the NX really coming out this year? Nintendo has been so hush-hush about it. As of now, I don't see it coming out any time soon.
As for Pokken, it doesn't seem like much of a fighting game to me because of the roster. I'd like to see more fighting types in, y'know, a fighting game. Also, the roster is really meh when you think of all the Pokemon there are to choose from. I think the support Pokemon for the game are waaayyy more interesting, which is disappointing.
Back on the topic of Amiibos, do any of you think that we'll get Amiibo cards for games other than the AC ones? Not that I'm complaining. I don't need another thing to collect. :P I just remember there being a rumor about the cards eventually replacing the current Amiibos, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I got R.O.B Famicon colors today. I know he's not gray and black but I had wanted R.O.B before when he was only in the 3 pack. I wonder if that means there will eventually be a single Duck Hunt dog aslo?

I dont have the game, dont plan on getting it either xD I wasnt going to collect them because I didnt think id ever get the isabelle or digby from the game itself, but found them both used in my local GS. I put it back :cry: and now they're out of stock everywhere in Australia and selling for $80-$100+ on ebay, why did I put it back?! I'm hoping they come back in stock soon, my boyfriend needs one. I'm leaving this one MIB, but it drops Ancient weapons and shields, and guardian parts. The figure itself is just plain one of the coolest looking amiibos ever made, and the legs are poseable!
