I didn't see a topic on this yet, so sorry if it's old news!
A while ago these pics surfaced on French Amazon, as well as from a few sellers on eBay. They also appear in one of the inserts for the Enchanted pets. Looks like LPS is getting a style overhaul! Think this could be connected to the new show?

Wow! I really like them! The only one I'm not fond of is the giraffe. I'm looking forward to getting some of these! :D

Don't collect lps, but I love the bunny. :-) how much are they normally for singles?

I really like the new style, but it bothers me how some have REALLY weird-looking heads, like that horse, giraffe, and pig(?) on the snowboard.
Maybe they'll look cuter in person.

We've collected G2 since probably the start and I have to say, these new ones kinna scare me :P .....I guess they're cute in their own way but I still the older G2's.

I'm not a fan of g2, but I think these are great. Maybe I am the only one that likes that giraffe. I think he's adorable!

Some of these appeared on Ebay not long ago and I managed to get the pink bunny. It's quite nicely made. The head can be turned and tilted to any position (but doesn't bobble anymore). Also, seems like a slightly different plastic is used from the G2 pets.

Yessss, the G2 deer are by far my favourite. I'm sure they'll make them, I just hope they're cute! Some of these new molds are a little funny looking-- ie. the giraffe and the horse's head I'm not too fond of xP

I admit, I never liked the "new" LPS, but I am quite interested in this new style. It's just something you don't see in the toy aisles. They're way more distinctive now, it was difficult to tell what some of them were in the older line.

Is that a pink chinchilla I spy? I only collect the Blythe LPS sets, but I may have to grab a couple of these!

Any idea of when these come out? I am getting pretty excited for them.
I loved LPS when I was a kid (G1) and still have mine from then. I initially hated the G2 designs (their faces all looked like Brain from Pinky and the Brain to me!) but eventually came to like them, though never got into them, I have a few that I picked up secondhand.
I am really loving the design on these ones though. Love the elephant, chinchilla, seal, dolphin, hippo in a tutu... pretty much all of them. I'll have to wait until I see them in person, but I can definitely see myself starting a collection of these!

So far I've seen the 2-packs ($7.99, $2 more than the G2 ones!) at one TRU, and the "tricks for treats" pets ($8.99) at another.
I was surprised to see them since we don't even have the blind bags or newish singles yet (platypus, where are you?).
I didn't buy any (waiting for the peacock or a sale), so I don't have pictures of them.
One odd thing I noticed about these is that the horse's entire head is painted. Wonder why they did that, the pinks don't even match that well o.O

I finally ran across an ebay auction for the hippo. I've decided I'm not a fan. She just looks weird in person.

I wouldn't go too much by any of the loose ones so far. They are probably factory rejects like the taobao ponies.

Makes me kinda mad that the one I really want is packaged with a Blythe, and is therefore way more expensive :C
Also these fairies are quite a bit bigger than the normal pets, there about the same size as the singing ones-

I'm not an LPS collector anymore, but I gotta say these are sooo cute! The g2's were getting old anyway, I think it was time for a refresh. The chinchilla is adorable! I hope they make hamsters! :hamster:

Oh, I got the big pack of fairies with Blythe in it, and the small Glow in the dark ones yesterday. They are adorable!

My target had a bunch of the bigger sets, and Kmart and TRU have begun stocking the singles. The only one I'm interested in is the cocker spaniel set though.

Thes popped up in our TrU already but only a few. They are a little bigger i was suprised but i like that lol its funny how mlp are getting smaller since g1 and lps are getting bigger xD

I too saw some of them at TRU. The singing ones are pretty big. Almost the size of the deco pets. Oh well. I wish I liked them more. I would have loved the Singing pets in a G2 style. So yes, I agree. Weird they are getting bigger and MLP G4 are getting smaller.
Glad I saw them in person. The chibi-ness of G2 is what grabbed me. The G3 are more in the Bratz style.

These are pretty cute! I used to collect G2s when I was younger (end of elementary school? Does that make me seem really young? I'm 17), but stopped. The rabbit in the first post is really cute, I love the little stars in the ear. The puppy is also adorable, and I like the seal too. They remind me of the G2s just enough to bring up memories, but they're also really unique.

I think this style is cute too!! They remind me of Lisa Frank animals, all colorful and "mini" cute. But the mouse is kinda freaking me out... it's eyes look a bit... homicidal..
I wish I could collect LPS! I just don't have the money for this AND MLP sadly lol.

Haha i was thinking about them looking like lisa frank animals also! I was so dissapointed to see no LF stuff in the back to school section, but i picked up a few of these and i feel better :D

This refresh actually pulled me back to LPS- well and the babies :) :blush: (so I approve a lot, lol)
The restyle reminds me of the vintage Dakin dream pets---- from WAY back.... my mom had a dachshund and the first time I saw the dachshund from this new series, I was immediately thrown back to childhood. the more I researched, the more I saw influences in the styles.

I find the whole LPS G3 situation quite interesting. Some G2 collector are quite put off by G3. Others like the change. With the change, new people are being drawn into collecting them. I wonder what the end result will be for LPS.

It's similar with any toy line that has a faithful following that goes through a revamp....the real telling thing will be the cartoon.....if its anywhere near as catchy as FIM........ Whoo boy!

Some G3 singles showed up at the Fred Meyers stores here. I like some of the animals, but not all of them... which is good cause it means I won't go completely nuts trying to buy them all. Of the singles, I mostly liked the bunny and the peacock, but only bought the peacock. He looks really good with FS Celestia and Luna.

I picked up the two pack with the pink elephant and the chipmunk yesterday! They were $4.99 at Target. They are sooo cute! :lovey: I love this new style! I will be buying the hamster and bunny singles later!

Ooh, I am liking G3. I used to collect G1 when I was little but was never a fan of G2. Those huge watery eyes creep me out.
