So I have been just addicted to Ornaments!
Not just hallmark but the carltonCards and others..
I wanted to talk about them and just show off what I have gotten
Over the past 5 weeks! Wow I got the bug!
I now have 5 of my very own and 4 for my BF.

It started a year ago when they got in a nightmare before christmas singing jack in the water fountion. This year they had the singing jack walking up swirly hill, I started to tell the clurk that I had missed the my little pony one from last year and I was sad, she said well we do have a rainbow brite one but they are all sold out the sold out faster than any ornement there, I just sunk. She said well waite let me check for sure she said this is my first day back let me make sure that they did sell out. She said oh look at thet we have 5 in.
So I was a happy buyer and
Began looking on the net for anyother 80's toys and this is what I found!

They sure are addicting! It makes me happy to work for their company. I can't show photos as they're stored away in big heavy bins right now.

We have about 6 plastic tubs full of them, and we add around 6 or more ornaments every year since we're part of the membership club. I usually get to pick out two for myself (I went with rainbow brite and .. wall-e I think this year), my mother collects the mini snoopy line and most peanuts ornaments, and then maybe a few others that we like. They're very expensive though! I like that they now have a separate cheaper line that gets sold in other stores like the wal-mart I stock at.

We have a few different Christmas trees in my home for them. My own tree has all of the my little pony ornaments, 90% of the hallmark Disney ornaments, some star wars (only the droids), and other cartoon related ornaments. Our huge tree in the living room has a lot of fancy electronic hallmark ones, peanuts, handmade ornaments, and everything else. My mother also has a tiny tree for her miniature snoopys and another small tree for other peanuts ornaments but she doesn't always set it up.

We also collected most of the star wars line of ornaments. We had the first talking christmas vader release form a few years ago but it busted after one year 

As for Nightmare Before Christmas, I have one of the interactive ornaments! It's Jack sitting in the snow in front of the Christmas town sign. The sign flashes lights when you press a button.

I've had incidences where I couldn't get ornaments I wanted either, but this is usually due to cost and not quantity. The last HTTYD ornaments that came out released before I had my own job and still depended on my mother to buy ornaments and she just refused to get it for me. She also stopped letting me get the yearly Rapunzel ornaments because I had three different ones already.

I love Hallmark ornaments too. I got my very first Disney Store ornament this year and it's really nice quality. I have a bunch more ornaments than these but this is what I have pictures of on my computer right now. I love the Strawberry Shortcake one. Is it Carlton Cards?

That Care Bear ornament is absolutely cute!

I have a box full of my ornaments, but they're up at my Mom's place half an hour away, so I can't really get pictures of all of them. Mom would get a Hallmark ornament for me every year when I was a kid, and I got about ten or so of those, all of which are classic American cars/trucks. I'd say my favorite of the lot is the '69 Hurst/Olds. It's actually very well-detailed and accurate for an ornament.

This is the only one I have a picture of at the moment. I got this one last year.

I have some MLP and Strawberry Shortcake ones- and some Harry Potter.  But my Christmas stuff is till packed up.

Except these ones which I JUST got!  Aren't they cute?  I actually got the record player because it is a perfect miniature for my 1:6 and 1:4 size dolls 

Twilight I got because dispite her weird disproportioned front legs- she is pretty cute

I have a few ornaments!  Mostly MLP G4 ones, but I do have the retro Hallmark MLP and Rainbow Brite ones.  I love the strawberry shortcake and care bears ones you have!

The x-mas stuff is packed away. :o( I do have a good haul of care bears, g3 mlp and some of those mentioned carlton cards strawberry shortcake ornaments. My favorite cartoon ones are not packed away, my Rainbow Brites.

aaaaahhhh I LOVE ornaments!!! I was just talking to hubby about getting ready to plan shopping for Disney ornaments too!!!! I will have to climb up and find our irnaments in stprage!!! I have so many MLP and Disney ones!!!! As well as cutie pie animals!

I've actually never purchased ornaments before, but I think I'm going to start this year. I may pick up a couple the next time I'm at Halmark and I'll post what I get here once I've done that.

My most favorite Hallmark ornaments are my collection of unicorn ones over the years since I was a child, and my mom's complete collection of the Nostalgic Homes and Shops series (which is still going strong!  This year I believe is #32 in the series).  Since my mom passed away last year, I am continuing to purchase the series as a fond memory of her and her passion for the holidays.
