I've wanted one. I've never seen one before. I've seen centuars, but no straight up ponies, esecially not of the MLP ilk. Which is a bummer. Someone should make one. :ohyeah:

I want to make one! That's why I was wondering if anyone had made one before.

I've looked and looked and looked and looked!  I want to own one someday!  There are some anthro equines.  There are a fair number of centaurs.  I found one awesome kirin, but the guy says he'll never make copies/another one.  There was one bjd company that did a HUGE black horse with armor, but they seem to have gone out of business, their website is just completely gone.

I've seen drawings on DA of BJD ponies. Does that count? I thought about creating one, realized it was outside my current skill set, started an Automata pony instead. Do you know how BJDs are put together? Or take a look at some of the centaur ones and see how they're connected. That will at least give you a starting off point. You won't know til you try.

I've been looking up doll casting toturials and BJD basic toturials, Im pretty sure I can figure out how to make basic leg joints by following the doll toturials. I will need some test subjects(insert evil laugh here) and time to work on it.

It's probably a pain in the ass to do but it must be possible! I'm gonna take one for the team guys and try to figure it out

Well, here's the best pic I could find of the kirin, I don't know if the guy ever finished it.  http://blitzava.deviantart.com/gallery/32637840?offset=96#/d2jcpo9  But you can see how the joints were done, at least for part of it. :)

sorry it took me so long! cant find what sketchbook it was in and had to do another... which had to wait cuz i didnt have a scanner or tablet back at home!
it's really crappy... but hopefully it's legible.  I personally would want double joints, but yeah... any questions feel free to ask because i wouldnt be surprise that i am the only one that understands this!

Oh that's cool! Looks like that person did a few BJD Dragons, which would help a lot :)
