Has the book that contains the content for Season 7 been released yet?
I've been reading the books more-so and now I am just confused where we are at in the storyline!

They are totally off book now - they have been largely off book since sometime in Season 5, at least with certain characters. They let Dany cool her heels in Mereen forever so the rest of the plotlines could catch up/be condensed or cut completely. They covered some stuff from A Dance With Dragons in Season 6 (as well as doubling back to cover some stuff from A Feast for Crows that they had originally skipped). I wouldn't put much stock into these last two seasons resembling the future books at all, except for the final outcome.
I can't wait! I am eager to see where they take the story seeing as all the important characters will finally be on the same continent, haha.

Looking forward to this. I finally have TV--including HBO--here so I'll be able to watch as things progress, rather than waiting for the dvd release, for the first time.

My friend lives at some super fancy apartments and they have a super nice private theater room she managed to book for our group of friends. I'm so stoked.

I watched the last season all at once by buying the set, as i have no hbo and i plan to do the same this time.
Its a different method than drooling over each episode and getting only one at a time...its harder to wait longer but then its binge time!
Nobody spoiled any if it for me either so it was great.
So yes im counting the days but until it comes out on disk, not until it begins.
Haha i understand theres going to be a bit of dragons in it.

Started reading the books...i am a bit behind. Hubby and I love it. We gave to wait till I get home from an event to watch. Love the books and the show. We buy HBO pass or something like Hulu for the time and as soon as its over we cancel it. Its like 15$ i think for the month. It's over we cancel and wait for the box set. Then we binge watch it again:)

I'm all in! I read the book series twice, watched the episodes countless times, read Dunk and Egg and the World of Ice and Fire...I got my parents into it as well, so now they'll be watching through our HBO account (we use their Netflix, so it evens out...). So we are all super ready for tonight!

I got to see the first episode and WOW oh it's so great especially that first scene...at Last!
