Title: g4 reboot mimic

I was inspired by the thread over on the corral about how the new layra kinda looks like mimic pose wise.
so  her she is.

I accidentally split her neck when removing the plug,  the necks on these new ponies is soo thin!

My gosh, the second I saw her my brain started an internal mantra of 'want want want want want' :lol: Love her details, very nice work, she's very cute with her older version. ^.^

I don't even care for G1 Mimic, but your custom of her is gorgeous and made me realise that I really want Hasbro to get off their butts and make some original characters in the new poses already! If they make one more Pinkie Pie clone I'm gonna scream.

She looks fantastic and I think the pose really suits her!  I always admire people who take on customizing the new ponies since their neck seals seem like they would be a challenge to work with.  Love how you did her eyes too- well done!!

I still haven't quite warmed up to the reboot style (but I was the same way about G3.5 and G4 as a whole, so I'm sure I will eventually :) ) but your Mimic screams absolute bliss and I love her SO much!

Very, very cute!! I thought that pose would make for a great Mimic; I was right! LOL I ended up going in a different direction with my current reboot Lyra, though. I cut through her neck as well, I almost don't see how it can be avoided, the neck is so small and the plastic so darn thin. I'll be covering it with a choker, though so I didn't cry over it. Still, it was uber aggravating all the same.
  How well does your girl stand? I think my girl just has too much hair, she doesn't stand well a-tall.

What a great job! I love the earlier custom, too. Twinkle eyes are my faaaave, and I've always loved Mimic because of the G1 tv episode,
