I didn't realize or lets say put two and two together...never dawned on me even though I have 1st tooth baby Fifi that she belongs to so soft Fifi..and I just got around to deflocking my bait spare girl and just saw baby on evilbay and was like woa I could put her baby with the deflock they are the same woa

I think it's easy to not notice they are family because Fifi is a unicorn and baby fifi is earth, same with Milkyway and taf baby milkyway (ones a unicorn and ones pegasus).

Most baby ponies are mini versions of their mummies but some aren't it confused the hell out of me at first

Baby Fifi is BEST pony

I didn't know there were 2 Fifi's, and bought the wrong one for baby's mommy. Eventually that got fixed, so now she has mommy and auntie Fifi.

Yeah -- Baby Fifi was the first in a brief but somewhat notable line of baby ponies who were identical to their mothers in every way except for their species. (Despite being an earth pony and a pegasus respectively, Baby Fifi and Baby Milky Way still have streaks of color in their manes just like her unicorn mothers, while Baby Sweet Tooth and Baby Up, Up and Away are unicorns, yet have single-color manes like their earth pony mothers.)

I actually came up with the idea that the magic mirror which created the baby ponies who were "clones" of their mothers (from that story in Issue #1 of the UK MLP magazine) started working improperly, and the ponies eventually stopped using it altogether...which, interestingly, was about the same time in the toy line when the Big Brother and Mountain Boy ponies were introduced.

It's funny that Fifi never apperaed in the cartoon, but Baby Fifi was in two episodes (Ice cream wars, and the Prince and the ponies) though I believe Mama Fifi did make the comics.

When I was a kid I pretended that Baby Fifi was too young to have grown her horn yet.  I didn't have any Newborns or Newborn Twins who were unicorns, so it "fit." 

...No way to explain Baby Milky Way though.....
